Isang GMA Films-insider ang nagkuwento sa akin na kinausap nila si Ms. Sandra Chavez, mana­ger ni KC Concepcion, at nagsabi sila rito na ipara­ting sa Star Cinema (ABS-CBN 2 film production) na gusto nilang mag-propose ng co-production venture.

Gusto kasi nilang magtambal sa pelikula sina Richard at KC Concepcion.
Noon pa napapabalitang gustong kunin ng Star Cinema si Richard (na exclusive sa GMA Films).

There are reports saying there’s a plan to pair Richard with KC Concepcion in a movie project. But how can they when they belong to the warring networks?

Single and romantically unattached at the moment, Richard Gutierrez has been vocal about his special friendship with KC Concepcion. But he keeps mum on whether he is courting her or not.

"Ako masaya ako kung ano ang meron kami ni KC. Kung ano ang friendship namin ngayon I’m very happy...tignan na lang natin kung ano naman ang susunod na mangyayari malalaman naman ninyo," he shared.

He also saw KC Concepcion’s first acting experience in "Maalaala Mo Kaya" last Friday and has only good words for her.

"Napakahusay niya. Siyempre pangarap yan ng bawat artista. it would be an honor for me to work with her... hopefully in the near future matapos na ang socalled network war para makatrabaho ko siya and other stars from the other station," he remarked.

hala? at ang big star naman ni RICHARD ngyon? it's so obvious that if not for ANGEL, he'll  never get this far.. he's just so conceited or maybe along with his mom... i just can't see any reasons for him to deserve this kind of very privileged  treatment... he's not that BIG , he has  not proven himself yet?,, haayy... nobody would get to know him if not for OVEREXPOSURE.. seems like he's the only TALENT of GMA... tsk tsk

KC and Chard united

Speaking of Mega projects, GMA Films has reportedly proposed a co-production with rival network ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema.

This project that could end the network war stars the much-ballyhooed team-up of KC Concepcion and rumored admirer Richard Gutierrez.

(The two reportedly spent Valentine’s together. “But we’re just friends,” they insist.)

“Star Cinema has been wanting to borrow Richard for the longest time,” said a Kapuso insider. “We thought this team-up with KC would be the perfect outing.”

Seems Star Cinema isn’t so hot on the idea and is reportedly sitting on the proposal. Perhaps Kapamilya execs would rather pair KC with homegrown stars Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby and John Lloyd Cruz.

Quipped a Mega Friend: “But Piolo’s reserved for Angel Locsin, Sam’s soap (“Maging Sino Ka Man”) isn’t doing well and John Lloyd treated KC’s aunt Ciara Sotto shabbily when they were a couple!”

GMA Films nililigawan ang Star Cinema para sa KC-Richard movie

SANA nga ay matuloy ang Richard Gutierrez-KC Concepcion movie.
Ang GMA Films ang nagbibigay ng feeler sa Star Cinema na open ang film arm ng Kapuso network to co-produce with the movie company of  Kapamilya naman.
   
Matagal na rin namin itong naisulat and with Annette Gozon-Abrogar’s interview sa Showbiz Central yesterday about this, it validates what we wrote na open nga ang GMA Films na mabuo ang pelikulang Richard-KC.
   
Exclusive talent kasi ng GMA Films si Richard, the same way na exclusive naman ng Star Cinema si KC, so almost implausible na mapagsama ang dalawa unless both companies will agree to the co-production.  Siguro naman, hindi ito sakop ng network war dahil we are talking of a movie here. Baka ‘pag naghintayan na mag-lapse ang mga contracts nila, hindi na interesado ang tao sa dalawa.

What can Richard say about GMA Films initiating a move to ABS-CBN, proposing for them to do a co-production film that will pair him with KC Concepcion? “I’m praying na sana, magkatotoo. I’m excited to do it. KC is very beautiful, talented and has a great personality. I saw her in ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ and she can act well kaya I’m really looking forward to working with her. They tell me a lot of viewers are looking forward to do that kaya sana naman, pumayag ang ABS sa co-production venture na ito.”

QUIET at wala pang reaksyon ang Star Cinema people sa pagpapakita ng interes ng GMA Films na makipag-co-prod para sa much-awaited Richard Gutierrez-KC Concepcion team-up.
   
Ang tanging masasabi lang daw ng Star Cinema sa ngayon ay kumpirmadong gagawin ni KC sa kanila ang movie with John Lloyd Cruz this year.
   
So, paano na ’yung proposal ng GMA Films na mag-co-prod sila?
“Basta, tuloy ang John Lloyd-KC movie,” sagot ng kausap namin.
   
Pero, wala pa ring detalye tungkol sa nasabing pelikula dahil confidential pa raw ang lahat, pati na ang magdidirek nito.
   
Napabalitang ang pelikulang ito ang kapalit ng proyektong pagsasamahan sana nina John Lloyd at Vilma Santos.
   
Hindi pumuwede ang governor ng Batangas at inamin naman ng young actor na nalungkot siya about it dahil kahit sinong aktor ay pangarap na makasama ang Star for All Seasons sa isang pelikula.
   
Pero kung si KC naman ang kapalit, bakit nga naman hindi? As for the Richard-KC team-up, hindi man matuloy sa big screen, malaki naman ang posibilidad na sila ang maging loveteam in real life, lalo pa nga’t nagpapa-cute na si Chard sa dalaga ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
   
Mukha namang walang tutol dito si Shawie.

KC-Richard movie, 48 years pa!

Pwes, kun sakyan ang mga bayot maoy pasultihon, 48 years pa una matigayon ang plano nga movie unta nila ni KC Concepcion ug Richard Gutierrez nga gilaraw unta sa GMA Films nga co-production nila sa Star Cinema.

Hangtud karon nagpaabot pa gyud ang GMA Films sa tubag sa Star Cinema pero ang tsika matud pa sa Pilipino Star Ngayon wa makasingit ang peacemaker nga mao untay tulay sa duha ka giant networks.

Ang sigurado mao nga si John Lloyd Cruz ang unang ikapares ni KC sa pelikula ug kun dili last quarter niining tuiga, early next year sugdan ang shooting tungod kay suma pa sa PSN daghan na ang naglinya nga project sa Star Cinema karong 2008.

Ang maong mga pelikula mao ang Aga Muhlach/Sharon Cuneta, John Estrada/Sharon/Makisig Morales, ex-President Joseph Estrada/Ai Ai de las Alas, Piolo Pascual/Angel Locsin ug una pa ang KC/John Lloyd.

Pwes sa kadaghan sa naglinya nga pelikula, asa pa man tuod isingit ang KC-Richard? Ug ang one-liner sa ka-tsika PSN nga taga-Star Cinema, "hindi talaga ma-accommodate."

GMA Films is proposing a co-production venture with Star Cinema pairing hot property KC Concepcion with its own network superstar Richard Gutierrez. It’s doing this as Richard tries to “court” KC through text messages and flowers. If these givens are correct which they are, it suggests that ABS-CBN has no vision which is a grossly wrong assumption. Star Cinema has planned a full-length feature with a Star Magic male hottie since late last year. This movie will to be directed by Cathy Molina Garcia who is already doing pre-production and is set to start principal photography next month. The idea here is that the project is on schedule and there will be no change.

ABS-CBN has foresight like perhaps GMA Films. The Kapamilya network knows it’s not good business sense for it to pair its new big star with a star from GMA even it is Richard. Why? It will suggest a corporate and creative weakness. Star Cinema is the country number one film production yet if if does this co-production, it is staking this claim to benefit another film production company not even as experienced. Besides, Star Magic has enough viable actors to be KC’s leading man. And if Richard is really courting KC and is sincere in the effort, it’s not also good sense to mix romance with business. The quick meaning is that he’s using her to pitch his own career.

Samantala, habang balita na sa April pa sisimulan ang shooting ng My Monster Mom nina Tita Annabelle at Ruffa sa Regal, dinig nami’y matamang pinag-uusapan na rin ang tungkol sa Richard-KC Concepcion team-up na type i-co-produce ng GMA Films with Star Cinema.
   
That is, oras na pumayag ang film arm ng ABS-CBN na tanggapin ang alok na pagsamahin ang dalawang malalaking artista na sinasabing tatapos sa umiigting pa ring war ng mga higanteng istasyon.  IFF

ABS-CBN LUKEWARM ON CO-PRODUCING WITH GMA

IS it true that ABS-CBN is lukewarm to the idea of co-producing a movie with GMA FIlms that will launch the Richard Gutierrez-KC Concepcion love team. We heard that ABS wants to do a movie pairing KC with John Lloyd Cruz instead. This early then, they should brace themselves for publicity slants saying John Lloyd was a former boyfriend of KC’s aunt, Ciara Sotto, the cousin of her mom, Sharon Cuneta, and they had a bitter parting with the rumor that John Lloyd treated Ciara shabbily. Whether they like it or not, we’re sure this bit of information will be dragged into the movie.

As of now, we really can’t think of anyone at ABS who might be paired with KC and be warmly accepted by the public, although we must admit KC had good chemistry with Derek Ramsey when they were paired in “Maalaala Mo Kaya”. The problem is that Derek is so identified with Angelica Panganiban, in the same way that John Lloyd is so identified with Bea Alonzo. KC also can’t be paired with Piolo Pascual as he’s much older. One alternative would be Luis Manzano, who’s only about four years older than her. And why not? The daughter of the Megastar paired with the son of the Star for All Seasons, Vilma Santos. It doesn’t seem like an impractical idea, right?

Maganda sana kung after Marian Rivera, si KC na ang next leading lady ni Richard for 2009 Valentine’s Day
movie. Bagay din ang dalawa at ngayon pa lang, marami na ang curious na mapanood sila in one project.

KC-Richard starrer still a pipe dream

ALL  is quiet in the Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion front.
   
After GMA Films sent feelers to Star Cinema for a possible co-production  for the two hottest young personalities, everything seemed to have been put on hold. It was rumored that KC will not do her first film with Richard but with Star Cinema’s hot property, John Lloyd Cruz.

However, it seems fans are getting louder with their clamor to have Richard and KC work on the latter’s first film foray.
   
According to Shirley Kuan, one of KC’s managers, there are some hurdles along the way, the biggest of which is the ongoing network war. Everyone knows that KC and Richard belong to opposing camps. Aside from this, their respective endorsements are competing products in the market which poses a great deal of interests in making the film.
   
So, is it a shot in the moon?

SA APRIL 7 mismo isi-celebrate ni KC ang kanyang kaarawan kapiling ang kanyangmga kaibigang ‘di niya nakasama sa loob ng apat na taon dahil nasa Paris siya. Balak daw nitong gawin sa Boracay na tipong Bar-B-Q party. Naku dapat abangan ‘yan ng mga paparazzi natin! Natural, darating dun si Richard Gutierrez! Palagay ko, talagang nagkakamabutihan na ang dalawa!

Mukhang nagkasundo na rin ang Star Cinema at GMA Films na pagsamahin silang dalawa sa pelikula. Sinisimulan na nga daw ngayong isulat ni Joey Reyes ang script na balak i-shoot sa Paris. Sana matuloy ‘yan dahil tiyak na wagi ‘yan sa takilya.

Natutuwa naman ako kapag may mga ganung magagandang project para muling sumigla naman ang movie industry natin.
