Let's support -->> the first Pinoy born player in the US NCAA Division I, Japeth Aguilar!

Japeth is 6'10" and very active and can move (not like a typical tall guy). He was the slum dunk champion in Western Kentucky University (WKU) last year, 2006.

This year he's eligible to play but they seldom use him. He was not even on the bench last thankgiving day game, televised in ESPN, vs Gozaga. I am afraid they remove him from active roster.

So mga kabayan and basketball lovers, nanawagan ako sa inyong lahat, let pressure their coach by just writing a little comment on the coach website, http://www.darrinhorn.com/. Maybe just mention how dissapointed we are by not seeing him in action.

I can assure you, he is going to be somebody, big chance that he'll be the first Pinoy in the NBA. I don't know him personally but from what I heard he woks very hard and hassles a lot.

So please let us all join hands together and pressure his coach!!! After all this is all about business, let's show them the pinoy power by uniting behind this boy.

thanks for the support, I know him personally and his dad, I played with them both...I played in a division 3, of course that is not news plus I am only 6'1"...who cares...but I am coaching now, managing, and promoting the first asian basketball organization and hosting tournaments in illinois and competing (most of my players are fil-ams) here and other states, including canada....

In regards to Japhet, he is young, very soft spoken, but really athletic...just need more body to play against the americans...plus they put him as a center....i wish he was put to both forward/center position so he can be more versatile...he need to improve his shooting...I am a lot shorter than him but he still having problem with me when I post him up....as long as he has strong legs and not afraid to get body contact...he will be fine...i told him, he's lucky...americans take seriously about conditioning....he will be much better, but relax guyz, this is just his first year...give him time, normally they pay attention more on seniors...

In regards to Jericho, 6'10-I think he got in division 2 scholarship...he is very young, 19 y/o...he needs more meat and needs to improve his agility and post-up move....deserves good coaching....

anyone knows kenneth duremdes...i heard he made big sa pinas...kudos bro.....too bad no more one on one between us....blew my acl twice....i am done playing....i think....lot of people still want me to...but i really enjoy coaching now.....

Ang ganda ng idea mong iyan pare, mabuhay ka!

Sino itong si Jericho? I think kung magaling siya dapat mag-try-out siya sa mga Division I team.

In regards to Japeth, reference to what you mention, tama ka, dapat talagang mag concentrate siya sa perimeter shooting and shooting is something that can be taught and learned. Kasi hindi siya bibigyan ng chansa maging forward if he cannot score from the outside. Plus, sabi mo manipis siya, right now kailangan niya sigurong matutong maging slasher. A good example si Hamilton ng Piston. At siguro pakainin ng maraming steak! lol..

     Mabuhay ka!

in regards kay hamilton, medyo mabagal siya compared to him...problema niya center siya pero mahina sa post up move...maganda sana kumg ala durant ng sonics medo payat pero he knows how to use his body.
