Nu’ng presscon kamakailan ni KC Concepcion ay nabanggit niyang maysakit ang kanyang inang si Sharon Cuneta kaya hindi ito nakarating sa taping ng Sunday show nito sa ABS-CBN.

Tila nagkakasakit daw ang mommy niya sa pagod, sa puyat at sa pagnanais nitong pumayat bago simulan ang bago nitong pelikula sa Star Cinema. Halos wala raw itong boses at hindi makapagsalita kaya pa-text-text lang sila.

Nai-forward sa amin ni Tita Nora Calderon ang isang text message mula sa Megastar kahapon at nabanggit doon ni Shawie na nagsimula na siyang magsalita slowly nu’ng Linggo kaya nakapag-tape na siya ng two episodes ng Sharon nu’ng Lunes, pero napuyat daw siya.

Kailangan pa rin daw niyang pumunta sa kanyang doktor dahil mahapdi pa rin ang kanyang lalamunan. Nag-storycon na sila ng London Caregiver kahapon at ngayong araw na ito ang first shooting day ng pelikulang ididirek ni Chito Roño.

Sa Setyembre 25 ay lilipad pa-Canada si Mega para sa kanyang shows doon at malamang Oktubre 15 na raw ang balik niya. Balik-shooting agad siya pagbalik niya ng ‘Pinas.

Depende raw sa takbo ng shooting nila ang pag-schedule sa continuation ng filming nila sa London at Prague. Ibinalita rin ni Sharon na may birthday special siya sa Araneta Coliseum pagkatapos ng Pasko.

Busy day para sa direktor na si Chito Roño ang maulan na Miyerkules, September 19. Alas-kuwarto ng hapon sa 9501 restaurant ng ABS-CBN ay may story conference siya with his project for Star Cinema after Sukob. Alas-siyete ng gabi, papunta naman siya sa Teatrino para sa Lastikman presscon ng kanyang alagang si Vhong Navarro.

Isa sa mga naunang dumating si Direk Chito sa Roxas Room ng 9501 restaurant para sa story conference ng pelikulang London Caregiver. Sa mga artista, naunang dumating si Makisig Morales, sinundan ni John Estrada, at panghuli si Sharon Cuneta na under the weather pa.

While waiting for the Megastar, nakipagkuwentuhan muna sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Direk Chito about the movie. One year daw ang hinintay ng award-winning director para masimulan ang una niyang movie with Sharon.

Inamin niya ring nainip siya sa paghihintay, so he busied himself with other works, like writing new material.

Base sa isang kaibigan niyang nasa London ang kuwento ng London Caregiver kung kaya't sa capital ng England niya inilagay ang kuwento.

"When we did the initial research kasi, it was really U.K. [United Kingdom] na. Iba kasi ang situation ng mga caregivers doon. Kung sa language barrier lang, walang ganitong problema kasi English naman doon. Pero yung mga traditions and lifestyle, iba.

"Gusto kong gawing iba ang movie. Gusto ko itong gawing real story about Filipinos working abroad. Marami kasing pelikula shot sa ibang bansa, ilang exterior shots lang pero pagdating sa interior puro Filipino rin ang magkakasama sa eksena, parang Pilipinas lang.

"Dito, Sharon will really interact with more foreign actors than Filipinos. How an OFW really lives abroad," kuwento ni Direk Chito sa plot ng movie.

May tatlong British actors na kasama sa pelikula pero ayaw munang pangalanan ni Direk Chito kung sinu-sino sila. Hindi naman daw kasi ganung kalaki ang mga pangalan nila, pero lumalabas na rin sila sa mga pelikula at television.

Inusisa namin si Direk Chito kung ang pagpapayat ba ni Sharon ang pinakamalaking factor kung bakit isang taong nabinbin ang pelikula.

"It's not just Sharon's weight loss," sagot ng direktor. "Maraming factors hindi lang naman ito. Kasi when we started, election period. Kailan ‘yon, May? Kailan nagsimula ang campaign, two months before election? Saka may hinahabol kaming look for her."

Happy na ba si Direk sa weight ni Sharon ngayon?

"I could be happier," pag-amin niya.

Bukas, September 21, ang first shooting day ng London Caregiver sa Montalban, Rizal. Ten percent lang ang Philippine shoot and the rest ay sa London at Prague, Czech Republic na kukunan. Nakatakda silang pumunta roon around November 3 or 4 at magtatagal sila ng four weeks.

For Mother's Day next year naka-schedule ipalabas ang London Caregiver.

London Caregiver, shooting na

Karong adlawa na ang first shooting day ni Sharon Cuneta alang sa movie niya under Star Cinema, ang "London Caregiver," human pud sa ilang story conference ni direk Chito Roño ug sa production staff kagahapon.

Tsika sa PangMasa nga last Sunday, gitugtan na siya  sa iyang doktor aron makasulti aron mag-taping og two episodes sa "Sharon" last Monday. Pero suma pa nga misakit og balik ang tutunlan ni Sharon, human sa taping.

Sa Tuesday, September 25, mobiya si Sharon alang sa iyang two weekend shows sa Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver in Canada.  Pwes, makapahuway pa siya og gamay, kay  sa October 15, balik shooting siya with direk Chito.

Butyag pa ni Sharon nga mag-depende kung unsa kapaspas ang ilang shooting dinhi sa Pilipinas, ang ila pud nga out of the country shooting sa  London ug Prague in Chezchoslovakia.

Samtang tua sa Canada si Sharon, gibutyag ni direk Chito nga atimanon pud niya ang shooting alang sa "Dagaw" sa GMA Films diin naa sila si Richard Gutierrez ug Marvin Agustin. Sugod na ang shooting nila sa Daet, Camarines Norte sa Wednesday, September 26 ug magpabilin sila didto og 10 days.

Sharon cause of delay sa shooting

ISANG taon ang hinintay ni Chito Roño para masimulan ang pelikula nila ni Sharon Cuneta.

Kahapon ang first shooting day ng first movie team up nina direk Chito and the Megastar. Sa Montalban ito ginawa and the Star Cinema movie’s tentative title is London Caregiver.

Makakasama ni Mega sina John Estrada at Makisig Morales at 90  percent of the movie, sa London UK and Prague Czech Republic gagawin. Sa November sila tutulak abroad.

Natagalan ang simula ng London Caregiver dahil kay Mega, but only   because of her weight. Marami naman daw kasing factors including the last election kung saan tumulong si Mega sa kanyang asawa na si Senator Kiko Pangilinan.

Sa pagpapayat ni Mega, hindi naman daw kasi kailangang payat na payat, they just wanted a look for her and now they believe it has been achieved na.

Sharon Cuneta has started filming her movie, "Caregiver in London," with director Chito Roño at the helm before she left for a US-Canada tour early this week. It’s a dream-come-true for the megastar to work with Direk Chito, since she has always expressed her desire to have a film with the awardwinning director.

"Caregiver in London" is a production of Star Cinema and will be filmed in, where else, but the United Kingdom, just like "Milan" and "Dubai," previous critically-acclaimed productions of the film outfit shot in other countries.

In "Caregiver in London," Sharon plays a school teacher waiting for the petition of her husband, who works as a nurse in London. Playing Sharon’s leading man for the first time is John Estrada, while Makisig Morales plays her son in the movie. While waiting for the petition of her husband, Sharon decides to take a crash course in caregiving. When she gets to London, she immediately finds work as a caregiver through the help of Jodi Sta. Maria.

In the film, Jodi is married to Jhong Hilario, who obviously landed a role in the film because he is a talent of Direk Chito. Conflict and trouble arise with Sharon and John while they are in London and they realize life in a foreign country is not for both of them.

Before Direk Chito leaves for London to start filming of the Sharon movie, he is set to wrap up work on the suspense-thriller, "Dagaw," starring Richard Gutierrez and Marvin Agustin for GMA Films.

John, meanwhile, is also busy with his latest TV series. He plays contravida to Vhong Navarro in "Lastikman." He was last seen also as a villain in "Flordeluna."

Determinasyon ni Sharon gipakpakan

Nagsugod na ang shooting sa Caregiver, movie ni Sharon Cuneta ubos sa  Star Cinema.

Kagahapon second day na sa shooting sa maong pelikula sa Pampanga, hinungdan nga matud pa ni Manay Lolit Solis, sayo nga mibiya si direk Chito Rono sa Christmas party sa Wednesday Club nila niadtong  Miyerkules sa gabii.

"Can't afford na magpuyat si Chito dahil nakasalalay sa kanya ang ikagaganda ng pelikula ni Sharon."

 "Si Chito ang direktor ng Caregiver. Bilib na bilib si Chito sa determinasyon ni Sharon na pumayat dahil malaki na ang nabawas sa timbang ng megastar," sunod sunod nga tsika ni Manay Lolit.

Yesterday was the first shooting day of megastar Sharon Cuneta for "Caregiver," her comeback under Star Cinema and her first film to be directed by the revered and award-winning Chito Roño.

Sharon's schedule for the shoot of "Caregiver" is already full. They are set to leave for London on February 15. Direk Chito wants to finish all the Philippine scenes of the movie so when they come back from London, post production work could already start.

Seventy five percent of the film would be shot in London and in Prague (which will be made to appear as London in some scenes). They have a very tight shooting schedule because they are working on a very tight budget given by Star Cinema.

Sharon also has to finish shooting some commercial endorsements since the clients want to break in the commercials before she leaves for abroad.

The megastar wants to apologize to the Sony BMG Records people because she can't give them a schedule for the promotion of her album "Isn't It Romantic Volume 2" because all her schedules had been devoted to the filming of "Caregiver." But she hopes to make it up with them upon her return from London.

Sharon gives her all in 'Caregiver'

Megastar Sharon Cuneta is back to her greatest passion -- acting. "I can never be a complete person without acting. 'Pag hindi ako umaarte, parang kulang ang araw ko. (If I am not acting, it seems my day isn’t complete)," she said.

She’s currently shooting "Caregiver" for Star Cinema. The film presents a very timely story about a Filipina caregiver who is caught between her responsibility to her family back home and the patient she takes care of in a foreign land.

When the actress read the script of the project, she said yes right away. According to Sharon, what endeared her to the project was the fact that it would be meaning ful to overseas Filipino workers, the very group of people whose lives she wants to uplift.

Being the wife of Sen. Francis Pangilinan, Sharon is bent on pursuing causes for the working classes.

However, the actress clarified that for now she would rather help OFWs in her capacity as a movie star and citizen, instead of going into politics herself.

She's no stranger to politics, after all, having grown up as the daughter of Pablo Cuneta, the longtime mayor of Pasay City.

Sharon said that for now she would rather stay behind the scenes when it comes to politics, letting her senator husband be the one in the thick of things.

"I have no time for politics. I think it’s not my cup of tea," she said.

And while she does her share of socio-civic activities, she never likes to have them publicized -- except in projects where she's sponsoring budding musical talents.

Sharon said that her being a singer herself is a lifetime commitment to the arts, including helping other talents who also want to make it in the business.

While "Caregiver" is a family drama, it also tackles important issues affecting overseas Filipino workers and how government can protect their welfare.

Sharon and the rest of the cast and crew of "Caregiver" will soon fly to London and other parts of Europe, where many Filipino caregivers are working, in order to shoot scenes for the film.

Sharon already has a full schedule for the shoot of “Caregiver.” They are set to leave for London on February 15 where 75% of the film would be shot. Direk Chito wants to finish all the Philippine scenes of the movie so when they come back from London, post production work could already start.
       
Seventy five percent of the film would be shot in London and in Prague (which will be made to appear as London in some scenes). They have a very tight shooting schedule because they are working on a very tight budget.

i hope this time sharon is there in london for their scenes in caregiver coz i'll tell my mom & sisters  who lives in london my mom is there since 1975 we all had a lucky chance to visit london since my siblings are base there.

my sister arleen was an avid fan of sharon since her teenage years & when shes still here in manila but now her family is there in london since 1987 had 4 children.. i hope she had a chance to meet sharon & hopefully sharon remember her.

Sharon off to UK end of the month

If plans push through, Megastar Sharon Cuneta will be going to the United Kingdom next week to shoot her remaining scenes in her new movie “Caregiver.”

The movie, under ABS-CBN's Star Cinema, tells the story of a Filipina who moves heaven and earth just to give her family a decent living in the Philippines by doing caregiving jobs abroad.

According to director Chito Roño, this is the first time that he has directed Sharon in a film. “Pero sa TV, ang dami na naming nagawa. (But we have made so many shows on TV),” said Roño.
         
Roño said Sharon has to fulfill other commitments before going to London. “Ibang klaseng Sharon ang aarte. (It's a different Sharon who you will see acting.) This is her most challenging role so far, I believe,” Roño told abs-cbnNEWS.com.

"She's a fantastic actress," he added.

The multiawarded director said he is taking a short break while preparing for the rigorous shooting schedule in London. He said he is aspiring to make the best movie yet for the Megastar but stops short in saying that the film could reap awards.

“Hindi naman ako gumagawa ng pelikula para sa award. Basta maganda ang gusto kong pelikula at magugustuhan ng tao. (I don’t make movies to win awards. As long as I love the film and the people like it)," he said.

He said Makisig Morales, who played the lead role in ABS-CBN's “Super Inggo” series, plays a very important role in the movie.

“Hindi ko pa naididirek si Makisig. Sa UK pa kami makakapagtrabaho. (I haven’t directed Makisig yet. We will work together in the UK). I’m kinda excited about the boy,” Roño volunteered.

Hindi sinasadyang maki-ta namin si Direk Chito Roño sa shooting ng latest movie ng alaga niyang si Vhong Navarro at kinumusta namin sa kanya ang shooting ng movie niya with Sharon Cuneta na kukunan pa sa Europe, ang  Caregiver na under rin ng Star Cinema.
    
Ang gusto raw ng Star ay lumipad na sila sa Europe ngayon para i-shoot na ‘yung movie kaso aabutin na raw sila ng Holy Week sa Europe kung aalis sila ngayon.
   
E,  may panata pa naman daw si Direk na sumasama taun-taon kada Semana Santa sa prusisyun sa kanilang probinsiya sa Samar kaya hindi talaga siya puwedeng umalis.         Hindi raw pang-MMFF ang pelikula ni Sharon dahil ipapalabas ito sa bandang August. Pero pani-gurado, another award-winning role ito for mega!

"Sa April 1 na po ang alis namin papuntang London," added na sey pa nito.

So, hindi pala sila natuloy umalis after Valentine’s Day. Kaya pala next week, apat ang episodes na ite-tape ni Megastar for Sharon.
