Bongga ang career ngayong 2007 ni Makisig Morales alyas Super Inggo dahil ka-join na sila ng kanyang pambansang bestfriend na si Pareng Jomar (Jairus Aquino) sa Little Big Superstar ni Sarah Geronimo na eere ngayong Pebrero sa Channel 2.

Yes, co-hosts ni Sarah ang dalawang local super heroes ng Super Inggo since produkto ng Little Big Star si Makisig at child star naman si Jairus.

"Click kasi ang tandem nang magkumpareng Budong at Jomar at tiyak na matutuwa ang mga bata sa kanila kaya join sila ni Sarah," paliwanag ng taga-Dos.

Bukod dito ay sa January 15 naman itu-turn over kay Makisig ang susi ng bago niyang bahay sa Taytay, Rizal na bigay ng ABS-CBN sa pakikipagtulungan naman ng Globe Asiatique na siyang gumawa ng Pinoy Big Brother House at Pinoy Dream Academy.

At hindi lang yun, may franchise pa si Inggo ng Kwek-Kwek stand na matatagpuan sa bahay nila.

Gagawa rin ng pelikula si Makisig sa Star Cinema kasama sina Judy Ann Santos at Sharon Cuneta at ito ang dahilan kung bakit hanggang Pebrero na lang ang Super Inggo. — REGGEE BONOAN

Di lang pinanonood ng marami ang Super Inggo na naging lubhang matagumpay kung kaya siya binigyan ng bahay at lupa ng ABS CBN, isang townhouse sa Binangonan, Rizal. Binigyan din siya ng sarili niyang negosyo, ang Kwek Kwek Power Go Go food stand. At parang hindi pa ito sapat dahil ang unang pelikula niya ay sa London kukunan. Makakasama niya rito si Sharon Cuneta at direktor si Chito Roño. O, laban kayo? Pero di lang sa swerte umaasa si Makisig dahil masipag siya at may talent talaga.

Hindi naging top winner sa young edition ng Little Big Star 1 noon si Makisig Morales. Opo, favorite siya noon pero halatang nag-flat siya nang ilang beses sa finals kaya first-runner up siya.

But then, siya ang nabigyan ng biggest break. Kasama siya sa dalawang album na pambata, Little Big Star at Little Big Deeds.

May hit song na rin siya, ang Tito, Tita na kwela during the holidays.

Kasalukuyang big hit ang kanyang superserye, ang Super Inggo.

Dahil tatapusin na ito after two or three seasons, pinaplano na ang isang follow-up series para kay Makisig.

Meron pa siyang gagawing solo album at nasa pre-production preparations ang isang pelikula. Hindi lang basta pelikula ito kundi isang pelikulang gagawin sa London at sisimulan ito sa Marso.

Si Chito Roño ang magdidirek at star dito si Sharon Cuneta.

In a year’s time, natupad ni Makisig ang pangarap niyang makatulong sa kanyang pamilya.

Nakatira na sila sa bagong townhouse sa Binangonan, Rizal at may food stand na ang pamilya niya, ang Kwek Kwek Power Go na paboritong pagkain niya sa Super Inggo.

`Super Inggo' is new child wonder

IT has always been a tradition that runners-up usually end  up more popular than the top winner.

It happened again in the case of Makisig Morales. He didn’t land in the top slot  in the search for  "Little Big Star" but look where he is now. Judges in said search found him  not cut out for singing, but he has made a big hit in  the song "Tito, Tita" so apt for the holidays.  But his biggest achievement was when he landed the lead role of Super Inggo.

Heard that he is going to start another  serial soon in the mold of Super Inggo.

And if that’s not enough, the biggest little star now is doing a movie with no less than Sharon Cuneta to be shot in London to be directed by Chito Roño for Star Cinema.

So, what has he invested in so far? Well, Makisig is now a proud owner of a house and lot in  Binangonan, Rizal and a small business,  Kwek Kwek  Power Go food stalls. Truly, Makisig is now the new child wonder of Philippine showbiz.

TUWANG-tuwang ibinalita sa amin ni Makisig Morales a.k.a. Super Inggo na magiging co-host na siya ni Sarah Geronimo sa Little Big Star.
   
“Makakasama rin po namin si Pareng Jomar. Kumakanta rin po siya kahit paano,” aliw pang sey ni Makisig.

Very happy din ang little super hero ng TV dahil gumanda raw ng husto ngayon ang dati nilang bahay sa San Mateo na na-make over at ginastusan talaga ng programang At Home Ka Dito.
   
At kahit sikat na sikat na     itong si Makisig at kahit bata pa ay daig pa nito ang halos karamihan ng mga new breed of stars sa PR. May photographic memory ang bagets at talagang knows niya ang mga syobis reporters kahit bihira niyang makita with matching beso-beso at may pa-hug-hug pa siya, ha!
   
Kaibig-ibig talaga ang bagets na itis, pramis! Na dapat lang tularan ng mga bagong celebs ngayon na tipong “feeling” lagi na nambabati lang sa reporters kapag may prescon, tsuk!

At Home in Makisig’s new home 

It’s another super make-over this Sunday on At Home Ka Dito as Charlene Gonzales visits Makisig Morales’ new house. The Super Inggo star guests the second time around on the show and would like to have his family’s brand new home given a different look. Decorating tandem Joross Gamboa and Roxanne Guinoo gives Makisig’s room a ‘new kid on the block’ theme with the help of interior designer Jen. Get tips from them, too, on how to have a kid-friendly house. 

 

Makisig then joins Charlene and Jairus Aquino to get to know two bote-dyaryo kids. Best friends like Pareng Budong and Pareng Jomar, the two boys are always there for each other, through thick and thin like Makisig and Jairus’ characters on the show. A treat awaits the kids at Earth Haven, where they will be having adventure activities that they will surely remember the rest of their lives.   

 

At Home Ka Dito airs every Sunday at 10:30 AM after Inuyasha.

BLESSED na blessed ngang maituturing ng child actor na si Makisig Morales ang sarili today. Aba, inuulan siya ng suwerte. Di man niya nakamit ang grand title bilang Little Big Superstar (second placer lang siya), pinuputakti naman siya ng trabaho ngayon.
   
Di na kailangang sabihin pang top-rated ang kanyang programang Super Inggo. Kaya nga, na-extend ang airing nito.
   
Ang dalas-dalas din ng guesting niya sa iba’t ibang shows on ABS CBN. Last Sunday lang, he was featured, along with best friend (in Super Inggo), Jarius Aquino, in Charlene Gonzales’ At Home Ka Dito. Kaya tuloy, na-libre ang pagme-make over sa living room ng kanilang bagong bahay. No wonder na tuwang-tuwa si Makisig.
   
Mayroon na ring commercial for a hotdog si Makisig. At di lang ‘yan. Nakatakda rin siyang gumawa ng movie with megastar Sharon Cuneta na ang siyuting ay magaganap pa sa London. Ayon kay Sharon, sa pag-uusap na namagitan sa kanila ni Direk Chito Roño, who is assigned by Star Cinema na mamahala sa pelikula, mga three weeks din silang mananatili sa London.
   
“Sana, mapasyalan ko doon ang London Bridge. At makita ko rin sana ang palasyo ni Queen Elizabeth,” turing ni Makisig.
   
Ang tanong kay Makisig ay kung naaasikaso pa niya ang kanyang pag-a-aral, considering his busy schedule.
   
“Opo naman,” sagot ni Makisig. “Through module ho naman ang karamihan sa aming assignments.”

Nalulungkot na ang mga bagets ng Super Inggo na sina Makisig Morales, Jomar Aquino, Empress Schuck, at iba pa dahil last week nang mapapanood ang kanilang fantaserye this week.

Anyway, in-assure naman ang lahat ng cast na may season 2 ang Super Inggo at kasalukuyan na itong kino-conceptualize na.

Sabagay, bisi-bisihan din ang ibang cast after ng SI tulad ni Makisig na may Little Big Superstar with Sarah Geronimo at movie with Sharon Cuneta na ang shooting ay sa ibang bansa at kung hindi babaguhin ang plano ay istorya ito ng isang caregiver.

Samantalang si Empress Schuck ay may Abt Ur Luv.

Ang pambansang bestpren na si Jomar ay nakatakda rin daw isama sa isang soap dramang magbubukas sa Channel 2 at ang ibang cast ay may kanya-kanya na ring shows ngayon.

Ang hindi raw makakalimutan ni Makisig ay ang pagkakaroon pa niya ng isa pang ‘nanay’ na si AiAi delas Alas dahil nga maraming nagsasabing magkahawig sila.

The success of the children’s talent contest Little Big Superstar has prompted ABS-CBN to sign up Makisig Morales, whom we know as Super Inggo, as Sarah Geronimo’s regular co-host. Makisig and Geronimo’s popularity, and both being products of pop talent shows, are expected to boost the show’s ratings further.

“Makisig and I will work as a team and we needed to rehearse to prepare for our co-hosting stint,” Geronimo reveals. “We fit together because we’re both playful and we like each other’s company.”

The show will carry a new theme song Sarah sung with the show’s top 15 finalists.

“They (kids) will be competing weekly showcasing their versatility in acting, dancing, rendering live performances and even hosting.”

Geronimo, who was not keen on answering trivial questioms pertaining to Sharon Cuneta’s objection for her to re-make a classic song closest to the Megastar, calmly presented each finalist to the press. Child actors and singers are impatient and talent contests, which takes plenty of their playing time, are exceptionally stressful to them. This is why Sarah is always around to aid her latest batch of talents. “I enjoy helping kids because they worked so hard to get to were they are today,” Geronimo confessed.

The wonderful thing about Sarah is her sensitivity these children’s needs and their inspiration of making it big and popular. There is a reason for this. “I was in a talent show like them. It is hard and I know exactly what they feel as they go through this tough competition.” Makisig could relate to Sarah because he was also a favorite audience finalist.

The kids underwent a series of acting, singing, dancing and stage workshops so they would know how to deal with pressure and confidently excel in front of the camera. Once competition begins, elimination rounds will automatically apply to select the best and the brightest talent the show has to offer. The difference now is that audiences, apart from the show’s appointed judges, can vote by simply texting which contestant they think is fit to win.

The text vote plays a crucial element in determining who among the candidates have the biggest audience impact. Little Big Superstars air Saturdays on ABS-CBN Channel 2.

Makisig sheds a tear for 'Super Inggo' Child actor Makisig Morales was teary-eyed on Friday as he bade goodbye to fans and supporters of ABS-CBN's primetime fantaserye "Super Inggo." "I feel sad because Super Inggo will end (tonight)… I’d like to thank all those who supported Super Inggo because from the pilot episodes, we were number one and until now we are still number one," Morales told abs-cbnNEWS.com. Morales said he learned martial arts and gave his best acting performance during the show. Super Inggo, which aired five times a week for the past five months, is the story of Budong -- an ordinary kid who possesses superhuman abilities he inherited from his superpowered parents. MAKISIG MISSES ‘SUPER INGGO’

NOW that ‘Super Inggo’ has ended, title-roler Makisig Morales says he misses doing it very much. But he’s glad to be now co-hosting “Little Big Superstar” with Sarah Geronimo and also looking forward to shooting a movie as Sharon Cuneta’s son to be filmed in London.

Makisig is also the lead singer in the new kiddie dance tune, “Lucky LUCKY ME”, from the album “Little Big Superstar”. He appears with his “Super Inggo” co-star Jairus Aquino, plus “Little Big Star” discoveries Mica Roi Torre, Kyle Balili, Rhap Salazar and Charice Pempengco.

Maganda ’yung strategy ng Lucky Me, dahil mga bata ang ginawang endorsers ng naturang noodles at meron silang production number at kakaibang steps na tiyak na gagayahin ng mga bata.
   
Kami nga, nung napanood namin ’yon, napaindak kami, eh, habang nakatingin sa amin ang aming panganay na anak, hehehe!

TATLONG buwan lang dapat na ipalalabas ang fantaseryeng "Super Inggo." Pero, naging top rating ito, kaya’t na-extend ng tatlong buwan pa. 

Ang 10 taong gulang na bida nitong si Makisig Morales ay biglang naging superstar. For a while ay na-sideline ang pagiging isang mahusay na singing superstar niya. Kahit saan siya pumunta, "Super Inggo" ang tawag sa kanya. Dinudumog at ini-idolo, lalo na ng mga batang katulad niya.

Bilang regalo, magbabalik muli si Makisig sa kanyang pinanggalingan. Ang "Little Big Star’ na nung Sabado ay inumpisahan ng tawaging "Little Big Superstar" ‘pagka’t nakalikha na nga ito, hindi lamang ng isang "star" kungdi ng isang "superstar."

Co-host na si Makisig ni Sarah Geronimo sa programang nagluklok sa kanya sa kinalalagyan ngayon.

Kung tutuusin, hindi first place ang pinanalunan ni Makisig sa nasabing contest. Pero, higit kaysa inaasahan ang kanyang narating.

London-bound

Masarap balikan ng alaala kung paano nagsimula ang bagong "Pare ng Bayan." Una natin siyang narinig bumirit ng "Ikaw Lamang" at "Kailangan Kita." Sa "LBS (Season l) iyon, kung saan baby pa siya. Ngayon, may girlfriend na siya sa edad 11-anyos.

"Si Maya po," an’ya. Tinutukoy ni Makisig ay ang ka-tambal niya sa fantaserye kung saan naging karibal ang best friend niyang si Jairus "Pareng Jomar" Aquino.

"Hindi naman po nabasted si Jairus, dahil, meron din pong nagkaka-crush sa kanya ngayon. Pareho po kaming mayroon," patuloy niya.

Huling-huli na rin ni Makisig ang kiliti ng madla at totoong padami nang padami ang kanyang mga tagahanga, hindi lamang dito kungdi sa ibang bansa man. Salamat sa TFC (The Filipino Channel), ang kanyang commercial sa TV Purefoods, Beefies, at Lucky Me ay pinag-uusapan na pati ang pagsama sa kanya sa London (take note, London talaga!) concert tour ni megastar Sharon Cuneta.

Sa excitement ni Makisig, nakatutok na ang kanyang relos na suot-suot sa oras sa London nang mga sandaling kausap siya ng Tiyempo.

Kung noon ay isa lamang si Makisig sa maraming batang sumubok abutin ang kanyang pangarap, ngayon ay kasama na siya ni Sarah na maghahanap sa susunod na batang "Little Big Superstar." Tuwing Sabado ito sa Chan. 2, pagkatapos ng "Abt Ur Luv."
