We got Marlon Byrd signed to a minor league deal, Brandon Lyon has signed for a one year contract (I wanted Brian Wilson or Jose Valverde myself) and then there is the Michael Bourne sweepstakes. At least the Mets improved their bullpen these past few weeks.

Mets do need a reliable closer, i know they are looking at Parnell to close this year if Francisco is not ready to go. Bourn is actually a good fit to the Indians, now they've added another speed to their lineup..,(Kipnis and Stubbs). as far as the Rangers, i really thought they'll trade Andrus to the DBacks for Justin Upton, Rangers really need power this year, after all they have Jurickson Profar just waiting for his turn, and im so darn sure the kid can play...Almost here bro...catchers and pitchers already have reported!

I just signed up just now to yahoo....and I got 3 teams at MLB...how does your roster look like? finally, how do like the MLB new schedule? Still can't get over Josh Hamilton going to the Angels but deng they open up at Cincinnati, weird right? and How weird is the Mets' last 7-8 games of the year facing the Central div(Reds,Milwaukee) and the Tigers finale is at Miami, very odd, cos I like how It used to be, when teams finish the last couple of series within their division...for more meaningful games and excitement kinda like how the A's clinched, they were down 6 games to the Rangers down the stretch and had to face them 6 out of the last 9 games including the division clincher on the very last day. I'll give it a chance though,LOL....finally I almost forgot to mention, the Astros are finishing off the season against the Pinstripes, very strange!

Did that air? I didn't see it on tv. Darn I wanted to see Travis play as well :(

Thankfully Grandy isn't in any of my fantasy teams.

Cowgill is my boy in CF for the Mets. He's also got #4 which was the same number as legendary Mets CF 'Nails' Lenny Dykstra... he plays hard and could be a great lead off hitter. Watch out for this guy. :)

Yep he got some pop bro, too bad Jst didn't get playing time with the DBacks n A's last year...he's gonna be good starting vs lefties and share time/platoon with Neiuwenhuis. Speaking of Nails, great lead off hitter, I can still picture him with that awkward looking stance and mouth full of tobacco...

Sadly, it didn't air here on SNY (Mets tv station aka Sports New York; the Yankees Network is YES [Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network, lol)I got Trumbol in a few of mine.

They should dial up Johnny Damon's number, lol. He's 39 but probably could do pretty well.

I'd rather have him start of Neuwenhuis (or however you spell it). Marlon Byrd is doing well as well... Duda (what a last name, lol) isn't :(

Yeah the tobacco is a horrible habit but it was his trademark. Speaking of Nails... remember Kruk, lol.

Lol yep Duda...speaking of which the Mets are playing the Cards right now, but had to leave to pick up my kids, it was on MLB Network Cards 8-Mets 5 top of the 5th...But you know Duda certainly have some power, he's OBP is so low cos he swings almost at anything last year, in 2011 he did quite well and thought he'll be a run producer in 2012, he had his moments but like i mentioned he strike out a lot, much like Mark Reynolds...Who can forget the Krukker, i remember when Randy Johnson almost took his head off in an All Star game in '93 on the very first pitch spooking John, that moment alone is unforgettable...And what a team they had that year though they lost to the Blue Jays in 6, but that lineup is great besides those mullets hairstyle,lol...deng they had Curt SChilling, Tommy Greene and Terry Mulholland... Nails leading off, the Dutch(Darren Daulton) catching and Krukker at 1b...that infield was great(morandini, kevin stocker just a few errors between them) and of course they had the best closer that year "the Wild Thing" Mitch Williams..and for some odd reason the Astros like to trade players with the Phillies through the years(Williams,Schilling,Abreu,Hidalgo,Lidge,Oswalt...too many to mention and of course Michael Bourne)
alright Joey have a great one bro!!

I don't blame you Joey, it hurts the team no doubt but since they don't consider baseball as an Olympic sport during Summer they had to do their own version of FIFA World Cup. That's why most of the big leaguers pass on this event and just concentrate on Spring Training for their MLB team especially pitchers(Verlander n Strasburg didn't participate)..it hurts the Mets big time no Santana and Wright for the opener...one week away bro can't hardly wait!  ROCKETS are playoff bound, finally after  4 long years of just painful defeats we are excited. 12 more games though but I'm sure we are in..Are u a Knicks or Nets fan?
