Jeyrick Sigmaton

Now if this isn't reason for you to eat your vegetables, we don't know what is.

Meet #Carrotman, who is making waves on Facebook for being such a ruggedly handsome and photogenic vegetable farmer with a full basket...of carrots.

Nueva Ecija bakeshop owner Edwina T. Bandong saw the strapping lad (his real name is Jeyrick Sigmaton) while she and her friends were on their way to Sagada.

Inspired by such a perfect specimen, Edwina, who has just picked up photography as a hobby, started snapping photos of #Carrotman for the sole purpose of posting them on her Facebook page.

Those pictures quickly went viral and, as of this writing, has enjoyed more than 2,000 shares.

Suffice to say, the interwebz is now clamoring for more information about this mysterious vegetable farmer from Ogo-og, Barlig, Mountain Province.

Some netizens see a similarity between #Carrotman and Filipino actor Hero Angeles, while others insist he looks more like Korean singer Cho Min-ho.

Do we care? Hell, no. We just want a piece of that carrot stick.

General Kapamilya TV Talk / Jonalyn Viray moves to ABS-CBN

Jonalyn Viray moves to ABS-CBN, changes name to Jona

Goodbye, Jonalyn Viray. And welcome to this world, Jona, enjoy your stay here!

It's not just the name that's changed for this 26-year-old singer. At a press conference today, it was revealed that she has left GMA-7 and is now a Kapamilya of ABS-CBN.

This was announced at the launch of a new TV show called We Will Survive, which stars Pokwang and Melai Cantiveros and starts airing on Feb 29. To spice up the afternoon, Jona sang the show's the song, Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive."

Why the name change? It's a celebration of a "fresh start" in her "new home," said Jona. We like that her new is more sophisticated and less jologs.

"I'm very happy and nervous. Nervous because it's a new environment, but happy because it's a new experience for me."

But why oh why did she switch network? "Mas nabigyan nila ako ng tiwala," she said.

In 2005, Jona won the GMA-7 singing competition "Pinoy Pop Superstar". She was known for a time as a member of the female singing group La Diva with Maricris Garcia and Aicelle Santos.

The group disbanded a few years ago and Jonalyn went solo. She's best known for singing "Help me Get Over," the theme song of the 2013 gay-theme drama My Husband's Lover.

Jonalyn follows fellow singers Kyla, JayR and Jolina Magdangal who recently moved from GMA-7 and ABS-CBN.

Just like most of the countries in the ASEAN region, the Philippines showcases some of the best beaches to keep its visitors relaxed and pampered. While there are several mainstream beach destinations in the country, it still has some of the most secluded and less visited beaches.

These destinations offer relaxing, idyllic, and picturesque spots that are seldom spoiled by congestion from other visitors. Some of these secret beaches may take a while to reach, but getting there is definitely worth your while.
