It's surprisingly amusing to find that moderator(s) have their own preferred team? Hmmm... I thought moderator(s) are supposed to be non-biased?
Anyway, I've read some comments that asks why Gino deserves to win Mikay, in line with that, that the end should not depend on the fan base?
First, let me ask you, what do you mean by " It was Jao in the beginning... "
Are you saying that the management actually created this for Enrique Gil or did you mean that Mikay met Jao first?
Coz, if you meant that the management created this for Enrique Gil, then they shouldn't have added Daniel Padilla in the casts, right? Just because, even before this show was conceptualized, KathNiel was already growing fast, thanks to Growing Up. But they did add Daniel Padilla and I thought I've read somewhere that the directors/ writers promised to give equal exposure to the three leading men- Enrique Gil, Khalil Ramos and Daniel Padilla. If the management wanted to decide on who to choose for Kathryn Bernardo via this show, then they just did. And the fans have decided.
Now if you mean that Mikay met Jao first and that is enough reason for him to end up with Mikay, don't you think that's kind of shallow? I really don't that's what you meant, though.
Now as to your comment "Do not let fanatic dictate what is best for the soap" What makes you think that they are actually allowing fans to dictate the outcome of the show? Are you saying they already have an ending when they first drafted the script? and had to change it because of the fans? I don't think so. Most Filipino dramas have "open scripts" they decide as they go along the story. Unlike Korean dramas that are done from start to finish and already have the starting dates and end dates, we still follow the Hollywood style.
If the writers were allowing fans to dictate the outcome of this show, then these fans wouldn't have been complaining, right? And it's the same on both sides. Both have been complaining.
You believe that Jao should end up with Mikay? I respect that, and I'm sure you have good reasons for that. But you have to respect those who think Gino should be the one to end up with Mikay because they, too have their own reasons. It goes two way. It just happened Gino and Mikay have more fans. And the way I see it, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo have such good chemistry because of their age that they compliment each other.
Well, so much for my first time here on this thread. I hope next time it would be more pleasant
