Kris Aquino denies being victim of Aman investment scam
Arniel C. Serato

Among those victimized included senior Philippines government officers and even the President’s own sister Kris Aquino was said to be among them, who was said to have invested 50 million pesos in it.”

Aniya, "Never.

ABOUT SHOWBIZ Ni Nitz Miralles (Pilipino Star Ngayon)

ABS-CBN triples Kris' salary

KRIS Aquino turned 42 yesterday. At the presscon of “Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT)” last Wednesday, we asked her what’s her birthday wish. “Gifts, wala na,” she says. “But it’s the last nine months of my contract with ABS and I want to make it very meaningful para when they renew it, bonggang-bonggang triple na ang bayad nila. Tomorrow (day of her birthday), I’m flying to Siargao with my sons and Zsa Zsa (Padilla) for a new resort there na may cooking class with a French German chef.”

At this point, the people behind “PGT” appeared on stage with a big three-layered cake, a huge bouquet of roses and a birthday gift for her. “Naku, mahal ang flowers’ pag birthday ko kasi Valentine, so thank you talaga.”

The most successful winner in PGT is Jovit Baldivino who’s had a multi-platinum album. He sang for the press before the presscon started and said PGT changed his life as he was able to buy a house and lot for his family and is now sending his four siblings to private schools. So what has the 4th season of PGT have in store for viewers?

“We’re going global and Pinoys from Europe, Canada, USA, Australia, Middle East and all over Asia can join. We’ve chosen the semi-finalists and 9 were sent to Manila and 1 was eliminated na at nagalit nga sa’min ’yung nanay. May 130 na nakuha dito then we’ll trim it to 30 and from there kukunin ’yung 12 then the final 6. Iba-ibang klaseng talents will compete. Magicians are my favorite and there’s a comic magician na ipaglalaban ko. Also ’yung drifting na outdoor stunt.”

Did she and Ai Ai as judges ever have a clash like Mariah Carey and Nikki Minaj in AI? “No, never. Never kaming nagkaroon ng misunderstanding.

What, is this for real?!
Watched PGT, but there's an advisory saying PGT will only be available on TFC for a month. What kind of crap is this?!

Agreed, love the way they opened season 4 with the big production and I love the new opening titles. Hated the farting candle person, wth! LOL!

I noticed their new editing technique... it's more focused onto the behind-the-scenes aspect of the auditionees and has way less Luis and Billy in the background. For me, I think it's better since it's more straight forward.

Vertigo - Loved their performance, they're definitely skillful.
RMMC+Dance Site Project - They're very entertaining! Very interesting duo and concept.
Joy Carbonell - First TFCkat Balikbayan. I like her style, I see her more as someone auditioning for The Voice though.
Tito Cris - Chinese magic, pretty awesome.
BMG Dancers - Their performance gave me a tear in my eye. All of them were great no matter their disability.

Overall, great premiere. Hated the start with all the bad auditionees and the choppy editing, but the latter half was good.

Where did you hear the advisory? Didn't see it here from where I am. I thought airing rights were fine with Fremantle Media... :(

It's on the program information. Anyone with TFC IPTV should see it and should know what I'm talking about.
It says ' available from February 8, 2013 to March 8, 2013.'
I found it weird cause PGT just started but the availability is from the 8th.

Hmm that's odd. PGT has no sign of being pulled off the air at all and hasn't been in the past. It sounds like an error to me because of Feb 8 and March 8 falling on a Friday, hope all they have to do is fix that error!

PGT Hopeful Farts to Put Out Candle Light

The much-awaited 4th season of “Pilipinas Got Talent” (PGT), billed as the country’s biggest nationwide talent reality show, has kicked off.

During its pilot episode on Saturday night, PGT showed the first batch of auditionees from Cebu.

One of them was a 23-year-old farmer Ronald Cabanes, who proved that he can put out candle lights via a difficult but natural method--by farting.

Showing his actual "talent" before judges Ai Ai delas Alas, Kris Aquino and Freddie M. Garcia, Cabanes was able to put out the light of a candle after five tries.

The judges, however, decided not to let him through, saying he should practice some more.
