Does anyone know what happened to the season 3 winners anyway? Did they just run away with the money never to be heard again? It's like they just vanished into deep space or something, xD. I still can't believe they won, Khalil should've won even though he never really had the greatest singing, but he's a famous teen heartthrob now.

Actually ABS really didn't have any marketability with them so there was no real use for them on the Kapamilya Network. They still perform in their province from last I heard.

Yup my bro Khalil is far better and he's now a young Kapamilya matinee idol. He'll be on an upcoming teleserye after being part of 'Princess and I'.

'Pilipinas Got Talent 4' debuts this weekend

MANILA, Philippines -- The weekly concert variety show of Sarah Geronimo won big in ratings last Sunday, when it aired its final episode after a one-year run.

With a national TV rating of 18.6%, "Sarah G Live" figured in the top five most watched program in the country last February 10, according to data from multinational market research group Kantar Media.

The Sunday night program, which debuted on February 26, 2012, ended with the singer-actress taking on hits from Madonna ("Music") and Rihanna ("Don't Stop The Music"). Geronimo also performed "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson as her last "statement song," before emotionally bidding farewell to viewers of the show with her own hit single "Forever's Not Enough."

After the successful run of "Sarah G Live," the 24-year-old performer is set to star in her own drama anthology and appear as a coach in the Philippine version of the popular reality singing contest "The Voice."

She is also finishing work on the last installment in her series of films co-starring John Lloyd Cruz, "It Takes A Man and a Woman," which is set to be released in March.

Meanwhile, the fourth season of the talent search "Pilipinas Got Talent" is set to debut on February 16. The premiere telecast of the hit reality show will highlight unique talents of Filipino hopefuls across the country.

Returning as judges are former ABS-CBN president Freddie Garcia, actress-host Kris Aquino and comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas. Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford will once again host the program.

Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes, more than AGB Nielsen’s 1,980 homes that are only based in urban areas. Kantar Media’s panel represents 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population, while AGB Nielsen reportedly represents only 57% of the Philippine TV viewing population.

“Pilipinas Got Talent” Goes Global on its 4th Season

“Pilipinas Got Talent,” the country’s most successful talent-reality show, goes around the world in search for the best of the best global Filipino talents when it returns on Philippine television for its biggest and best season yet beginning this Saturday (Feb 16).

Talented global Filipinos from USA, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Middle East, Europe, Canada, Australia, and Guam got the chance to show what they got via PGT’s global auditions. The best acts from each territory flew in the country to face the Big Three Judges— Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, Comedy Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas, and ‘The Expert’ Freddie “FMG” Garcia. Other hopefuls were also able to audition right at their very homes by via PGT’s online auditions in partnership with Cge.tv.

“We know that Filipinos still have a lot to show especially when it comes to the talent department. That is why the PGT team decided to mount global and online auditions to give hopefuls a chance. We made this season the biggest season yet so if we really want to make it the biggest, we must also find the best talents in every possible way we can,” explained Business Unit Head, Joyce Liquicia.

From across the nation and across the globe, Filipinos are even more daring this season in showing what they can do after prior seasons of PGT raised the bars of talent.  Aside from the popular acts of singing or dancing, auditionees became more innovative and creative in performing acts that have not been done on previous seasons.

“If you think Filipinos are talented with the first three seasons of PGT, wait until you watch season four because we were able to discover even more talents. From an act that fused gymnastics and wall climbing to an act that would extinguish candlelight by using the auditionee’s own fart,” executive producer, Richelle Bernal shared.

Adding up to the excitement is a whole new viewing experience as the show takes a different approach in introducing each act, tell the stories behind every auditionee, and even doing the opening number with hosts, Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford.

PGT hopefuls will face the Big Three judges in the audition stage and impress them with their acts. Once they make the cut they will automatically be shortlisted among the contestants to be included in the Judges Cull, where the judges will determine 36 acts that will advance to the Quarter Finals.

For six weeks, six acts will be pitted against one another in a talent showdown, where only two will make it through— one chosen via viewers’ text votes and one by the judges— to complete the roster of semi-finalists.

The 12 semi-finalists will again battle it out in the Semi-Final round until only six of them make the last and final cut of the competition to formally enter the Final round. Who will be the fourth grand winner of “Pilipinas Got Talent”?

Don’t miss “Pilipinas Got Talent 4” every Saturday, beginning Feb 16, after “MMK,” and every Sunday, after “Rated K” on ABS-CBN.

Is Psy Ready For Ai Ai?
By BHENJ AGUSTIN

February 14, 2013, 2:45pm

MANILA, Philippines - Tomorrow, Feb. 16, Korean pop star Psy behind the global hit “Gangnam Style” will share the stage with Pinoy box-office comedy actress Ai Ai delas Alas at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in a concert dubbed “Ang Tanging Family Valentine Concert.”

What to expect? Well, as one joke goes---you can never can tell!

“Feeling ko si Madonna ako!” Ai Ai crowed at the press conference for the concert a couple of days ago, referring to his guest performance in one of the Queen of Pop’s concerts abroad.

“Ang gagawin ko dun sa concert---and sasabihin ko sa kaniya (Psy)---‘Puwede pa-picture?’ Eepal ako dun!”

Ai Ai said that she “Googled” up Psy “gaya ng pag-Google niya sa akin.” Apart from learning that the music video of “Gangnam Style” has already garnered more than a billion hits on YouTube, the comedienne found out “na may anak siya at may asawa.”

And what else?

“Mahigpit sila sa pagkuha ng makakasama niya kasi ganun kapag international icon. Maraming mga chenelyn, maraming mga anik-anik,” she said so eloquently in gay speak.

Asked if she had to take a crash course in Korean language so she and Psy could at least make small talk when they meet, Ai Ai just laughed then joked that perhaps it’s better that they have a language barrier so she could tell him that he is her front act.

“Hindi, front act niya ako, ‘yun ang totoo,” Ai Ai quickly added with a laugh. “Pero kunyari sasabihin ko sa sarili ko, front act ko siya.”

At the time of the interview, the comedienne was worried that she was coming down with the flu. She “prays” that she’d be able to get enough sleep before the concert so her voice would be in top shape by then.

But if not---knock on wood!---then she already has a ready line for the audience; one that’s stolen straight from Regine Velasquez last November when the latter had to cut short a concert due to a viral throat infection:

“Aah, just keep your tickets…” she said in pretend hoarse voice.

Turning serious, Ai Ai said that she considers it a big blessing to have this show with Psy. Dubbed as the country’s Comedy Concert Queen, it’s been years since Ai Ai has had a concert that’s why staging a comeback, with Psy beside her no less, is quite a feat for her.

She cited the difference between making a film and staging a concert.

“Ang movie kasi, makikita mo lang kapag tapos na, pag nanood ka. Eto, on the spot, makikita mo na ‘Ah, tama pala ‘yung ginawa ko. Ah, tama pala ‘yung timing ko, Ay, natutuwa sila sa akin. Ay, masaya sila,’” said she who applauds Psy for coming up with the “horse” dance step that she deems easy to do and with high recall.

If Psy asks her for career advice, Ai Ai already has one in mind.

“Kung baga alam niya na ‘yung una niyang kanta eh nag boom, ‘yung susunod, kailangang labanan mo na lang ‘yung sarili mo eh, kung kaya mong sundan (yung hit na yon).”

“Ang Tanging Family Valentine Concert” is presented by That’s Ntertainment, Music Management International and Ovation Productions.

Kris Aquino on being mum about current crush: “Kung ang presidente nga kayang magkaroon ng private life, ako pa kaya?"
Nerisa Almo
Wednesday, February 13, 2013

Paliwanag niya, “Honestly, when I name anybody, I get a barrage of kanegahan about that person.

“Siyempre, I’m the only one who gets to read it.

He doesn't deserve that," pakiusap ni Kris.

If it will come, it’s a super bonus na from God. Pero kung hindi pa siya darating, okay lang din,” says Kris Aquino when asked about having a new lovelife.

“IT’S UNFAIR.” Sabi pa ni Kris, ayaw na niyang madamay pa sa kanyang showbiz life kung sino man ang ma-link or maging love interest niya.

Ai Ai on boyfriend: We are sexually compatible

MANILA, Philippines -- While their age difference puts her ahead in terms of life experience, Ai Ai delas Alas happily shared two areas where she is compatible with current boyfriend Jed Salang.

"We are sexually compatible and sa humor compatible din. Parati akong pinapatawa ni Jed," the 48-year-old comedienne was quoted as saying by the Philippine Star, referring to her businessman-boyfriend, who is reportedly 20 years her junior.

Delas Alas, who will return as one of the judges in the fourth season of "Pilipinas Got Talent," pointed to these two areas of compatibility as the reasons behind her strengthening bond with Salang.

Asked if she plans to marry the businessman in the near future, the Kapamilya star said, "Marriage, 'wag na muna."

"Mahirap sa adjustment kasi bata si Jed and matured na ako. Matured ha, hindi matanda," she said.

"Kasi 'yung mga ibang bagay na seryoso. hindi niya masyado maintindihan at experience-wise, mas malalim na at pang-championship na ang dinaanan ko sa buhay," she added.

According the "Sisterakas" actress, they make it a point to go on trips overseas as a way to escape from the public interest in their relationship. "Parati kaming out of the country kasi doon na-e-enjoy namin ang isa’t-isa na walang hassle, lahat payapa," she said.

Admittedly, delas Alas said she and Salang have misunderstandings. "But love prevails, masyado naming mahal ang isa’t-isa kaya kami pa din," she said.

“Gaya nga ng sinabi ko, walang perfect na pagsasama pero masaya ako and binigyan ako ni God and Mama Mary ng chance to be happy again na may kasama akong jowa,” she said.

Kris Aquino's first indie film offer requires her to shave hair and do love scene with another actress
pep.ph
Nerisa Almo

“Kahit na role ‘yon, I need their approval kasi I sell their milk, I sell their detergents, so parang ‘yon ang na-realize ko.’"

Sayang daw, sabi ni Kris, dahil pagkakataon sana ang indie film na ito “to challenge myself as an actress.”

Pero dahil sa kanyang mga ine-endorse, “I have a responsibility rin because mayroon akong napirmahan na mga kontrata.

“‘Yon, it calls for a kiss with a girl, a physical act sa pagkatao ko at sa sarili ko na ipinagdadasal pa namin—kasi, on-cam, kailangan kong i-shave ang ulo ko.”

Bagamat wala pang tiyak na desisyon tungkol sa offer sa kanyang indie film, pinangunahan na ni Kris na, “Kung tumanggi man ako doon, I want to make it clear na it wasn’t my decision but the endorsements.

“Ginagalang ko lang kasi may mga kontrata ako sa kanila.”

POSSIBLE FIRST INDIE.

“Ako? Boy [Abunda, her talent manager], nagkamali ba sila? Sa akin ba talaga nila ito pinadala?” pagtataka umano ni Kris nang makita ang letter at storyline ng posibleng first indie niya.

Bago raw ito, kuwento ni Kris, “Kakasabi ko lang that day na ayaw ko nang umarte.

“Tapos noong biglang nabasa ko, sabi ko, ‘Oh, my God, gusto ko yata.’

“Pero ‘yon takot na takot ako.”
