waaaaaaaw this is a surprise!! nabasa ko sya sa Philippine Star at si Ricky Lo ang nagsulat so we are assured na totoo to... this is really unexpected, well kinda expected ko na dahil winish ko tlaga na bumalik si korina sa newscast kahit sa late night lang... and my wish came true!!! i'm so happy!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeee puyatan na to!!!

if this is true...pangit ng casts...dapat Korina Ted...hay..isingit naman itong si Henry Omaga Diaz....okay na yung XXX nya at Balitang Middle East....susmaryusep!
I find the Title Bandila sounds like very Katipuneros and the like..sa Sibika at Kultura gasgas ang term na yan...sana may iba pang titile na pwedeng gamitin nila...Bandila may last for a very short term kasi parang hindi fit yung title sa pagbabalita....mismatched yung title in using into news program.....andami naman dyan na pwede gamitin...

I find it vlike Sardinas kung tatlo ang anchors nitong Bandila...di talaga maganda....siksikan na nga ang TVP tapos siksikan din yung Bandila...Pwede naman dalawa or Isa pero dont make it three...pangit ng Tatlo....I think it is very ideal kung dalawa or Isa lang ni Korina...You can booted out Henry Omaga Diaz into this new newsprogram...Henry is a very dry newscaster...
Sana hwag na magexperiment ng tatluhan sa pag a anchor ng news program kasi that degrades the News program itself...super pangit pag tatluhan...

Inquirer Editor's Note: Published on page A2-2 of the June 18, 2006 issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer AS PART of ABS-CBN’S ON going program revamp, its late-night newscast is set to undergo a major overhaul. The “reprogramming” or “re-gridding,” reported by Inquirer Entertainment on May 28, finally starts on July 3. For a start, the late-night news show “Insider” has been retitled “Bandila.” Apart from the title change, the program will be reformatted. Original “Insider” anchor Ces Drilon will be joined by fellow senior correspondents Henry Omaga Diaz, “Weekend Patrol” anchor; and Korina Sanchez, former “TV Patrol” anchor. “This marks Korina’s return to nightly news after nearly two years,” said Maria Ressa, senior vice president and head of News and Current Affairs. Luchi Cruz-Valdez, head of Current Affairs, said the title, which translates to “flag,” alludes to the term “banner story,” or top news of the day. “Bandila” also refers to the tri-color—literally. Ressa explained: “Three colors, three stars, three anchors.” Charie Villa, head of Newsgathering, said Drilon, Diaz and Sanchez were “three of the network’s most experienced reporters-anchors.” ObjectiveRessa said the goal for “Bandila” was to make it “agenda-setting.” “We first tried it on ‘TV Patrol World,’ with Ted Failon, Julius Babao and Karen Davila,” Villa recalled. The new program will run for 30 minutes. “It will be followed by a Current Affairs show,” said Valdez. “That’s an hour and a half of N&CA every night.” “While the newscast delivers information,” Ressa said, “the Current Affairs programs provide analysis. We are bucking worldwide trends because more Filipinos are watching the news now. There are a number of factors behind this: the volatility and uncertainty in political/economic life; weakness of institutions; the OFW phenomenon. Crime stories are popular because of the peace and order situation. Diba yung Saksi before of GMA 7 diba tatluhan din...mike karen at Mel...tapos inalis nila yung three tandem na yun...ngayon Dos naman ang nagpauso ng tatluhan....heheheh.....ideally, dapat isa or dalawa lang...kahit sa ABC, CBS, CNN and BBC e talagang isahan or dalawahan lang......ang Dos kasi mahilig sa naiiba...sardinas tuloy!

LALABAS PLAGIARIZED TAYO NYAN! LEAVE THAT TO THE NUMBER 1 PLAGIARISIM STATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, GMA 7! ACUTALLY, kaya binawasan ang anchors noon ng witness, kasi nga, LAGAPAK NA SA RATINGS LAKI PA GASTOS NILA SA ANCHORS! ACUTALLY, kaya binawasan ang anchors noon ng witness, kasi nga, LAGAPAK NA SA RATINGS LAKI PA GASTOS NILA SA ANCHORS! tsaka isa pa, dalawa lang ang anchors ng katapat nila, mataas pa ratings! bottomline: GINAYA NILA SA KABILA, SA ABSCBN!
