Kaya sa awards night ng MYX, nag-thank you si Sarah sa pamamagitan ng internet.

Well, sabi nga ng buntis na si Salve, walang puwedeng kumuwestiyon sa pagdami ng awards ni Sarah. Aba, napupuno niya ang Araneta Coliseum kapag concert niya. Ang last concert niya na Sa­rah Geronimo in Motion, ay nasa DVD na ngayon at mabibili na ng mga fans niya.

Ang fourth album niya na Taking Flight ay mabenta rin ngayon. Almost 500,000 raw ang nagbyu-view sa music video, ang How Could You Say You Love Me, sa YouTube.

At magri-record din daw si Sa­rah ng kanta sa Los Angeles, ka-duet ang cute member ng biggest boy bands in pop music history. Isasama raw ang kantang `yon sa new album niya na iri-release sa July, ang kanyang birth month.

SARAH Geronimo is not resting on her laurels. She has added several more awards to her ever-growing collection.
    
The Viva singing star emerged top winner in this year’s MYX Music Awards. She bagged the Favorite Song award for the Medwin Marfil composition, Ikaw, one of the cuts in her all-original Filipino album, Taking Flight.
   
Sarah was also named Favorite Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Artist of the Year and MYX Celebrity VJ of the Year.
   
On top of that, she was named Best Female Performer in the recently-concluded Guillermo Mendoza Awards. (Martin Nievera was Best Male Performer.)
   
Unfortunately, Sarah was not around to personally receive her harvest of awards. She is in Canada, where she is on a concert tour with the old gang, Rachelle Ann Go, Mark Bautista and Christian Bautista.
   
She had just performed in Winnipeg where fans packed the music hall.
   
Thanks to new technology, however, the enterprising guys in MYX USA were able to shoot Sarah giving her thank you speech.
   
There is no question that the singer-actress deserves the awards. She is one of a few artists who can draw a big crowd at the Araneta Coliseum. Her last concert, Sarah Geronimo in Motion, rocked the Big Dome and has been preserved on DVD.
   
Her fourth album, Taking Flight, also topped the music charts. Almost 500,000 have viewed her music video, How Could You Say You Love Me, on YouTube.
   
Reports have it that Sarah will stay behind in Los Angeles after the Champions tour to record a duet with a cute member of one of the biggest boy bands in pop music history.

MAY nadagdag na namang panibagong parangal para kay Sarah Geronimo at ito ay nang humakot siya ng awards sa Myx Music Awards.
   
She copped the Favorite Song award for the Medwin Marfil composition Ikaw, one of the cuts in her all-original Filipino album, Taking Flight.

Bukod dito, sa nakaraang Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Awards, pinarangalan din si Sarah bilang Best Female Performer.
   
Unfortunately, wala sa bansa si Sarah para personal na tanggapin ang mga parangal. She is now in Canada, where she is on a concert tour with the Champions, Rachelle Ann Go, Mark Bautista and Christian Bautista. She had just performed in Winnipeg where fans packed the music hall.

Christian Bautista and Sarah Geronimo were recently featured in Gel Santos' television program "Balitang America" on TFC. The singers talked about their concerts in the US dubbed "Night of the Champions" in Houston, Texas on March 29 and Anaheim, California on March 30, 2008.

Christian and Sarah, together with fellow singing champions Rachelle Ann Go and Mark Bautista, just finished their 3-week concert tour in Canada.

Christian shared to "Balitang America" viewers that he will star in the Manila production of Broadway musical "West Side Story." Auditions for principal and supporting cast will be held on March 29 to 30.

Whereas Sarah announced her upcoming film project that Viva and Star Cinema will be producing this year.

BREAKING NEWS: Fresh from a hugely-successful concert tour of Canada and the US, Sarah Geronimo stayed behind in LA to do the vocals for a duet with Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough in LA. The song, titled I'll Be There and produced by Christian de Walden, will be included in Sarah's latest CD which will be released in July. De Walden is the same guy who acted as go-between for Claire dela Fuente and Richard Carpenter for Claire to record the song Something in Your Eyes.

Howie D. reached worldwide fame as a member of the BSB along with AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson and Nick Carter. He is best known for his falsetto singing which is easily recognizable in hits like I Want It That Way, Drowning, The Answer to Our Life, The Perfect Fan and Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely.

He is the lead singer in the songs Spanish Eyes, What Makes You Different Makes You Beautiful and How Did I Fall in Love with You. He is set to visit the Philippines in July to shoot a video with Sarah and promote the duet.

Meanwhile, Sarah is coming to more honors as the big winner at the Third MYX Music Awards held at the Meralco Theater last Wednesday, March 26. The Viva recording artist won four trophies, the most by any nominee this year - Favorite Song for Ikaw, Favorite Artist, Favorite Female Artist and Favorite MYX Celebrity VJ. Sarah accepted the awards while she was in the US.

Ikaw is a composition by Medwin Marfil of True Faith included in Sarah's latest album Taking Flight which is composed of original works by Filipino songwriters. Other selections are I'll Be Alright by Louie Ocampo and Edith Gallardo; Close to My Heart also by Louie with lyrics by Freddie Santos; I'm Sorry by Soc Villanueva and Jungee Marcelo; Time to Let Go featuring Mark Bautista and composed by Rebel Madagasang; I'll Be Here also by Rebel; So and What If I, both written by Trina Belamide; Miss and Kahit Na by actor-turned-musician Chuckie Dreyfus; and Mr. Deadma by newcomer Drizzle Nuniz.

SARAH Geronimo loves going on tour. It’s her way of touching base with her fans who don’t often have the chance to see her in person.
 
This month, and after returning from a triumphant US tour with fellow champions Erik Santos, Christian Bautista and Rachelle Ann Go,  Sarah hits the road again, but this time, to sing for her fellow Pinoys down south. On April 18 at 8 p.m., Sarah is scheduled to perform at the Lagao Gymnasium in General Santos City in a show billed Sarah Geronimo: Live in Gensan.

Surely, the people of Gensan will be looking forward to the show, since it will be Sarah’s first time to perform in the city which is also famous for being the hometown of boxing champ Manny Pacquiao. Incidentally, Sarah sang the National Anthem at one of Pacquiao’s bouts against Erik Morales. She was reportedly handpicked by Manny, who was impressed when he heard her sing during his fight against Oscar Larios in 2006.
   
Sarah hopes that Pacquiao can come and watch the show. “It would be an honor to perform for him again,” she says.

SUCCESSFUL ang ginawang paglulunsad kay Sarah Geronimo bilang bagong HerBench celebrity endorser sa SM Mall of Asia nu’ng Martes ng gabi.
    
Punumpuno ang venue ng fans ni Sarah, na binubuo ng matatanda at bata. Sobrang haba ng pila ng mga nagpapirma sa Pop Princess, kaya natagalan ang pagbisita nito sa HerBench outlet, na dinumog pa rin ng followers ng dalaga.
   
Dahil sa sobrang pagka-busy ng singer-actress, ang Bench owner na si Ben Chan tuloy ang nahagip ng writers para interbyuhin.
   
Actually, hot item din ang tinatawag na “ninong” ng kaibigang Allan Diones, dahil sa isyu ng biglaang pagkawala ng sexy billboards ng Bench Body model na si Dingdong Dantes sa ilang parte ng Metro Manila, gaya ng Cubao at Quirino.
   
Pero, nilinaw ni Ben na walang kinalaman ang diumano’y pagrereklamo ng ilang moralist groups sa pag-aalis ng ilang sexy billboards ni Dingdong.
   
Ayon sa kanya, deliberate ang ginawang pagpapalit sa mga ito.     “’Di ba, madalas kaming nagpapalit? Like ngayon, turn naman ni Sarah. So, ’yung iba niyan, pinalitan na ni Sarah. After a while, school opening naman ang aming campaign. So, ibang campaign na naman.
   
“’Yung sa Quirino, tinanggal ’yun kasi pinalitan namin ng iba. Katulad ni Sarah, ni-launch namin siya, kung saan-saan available ang billboards niya. Some will stay for a month, some will stay for two weeks. Depende, kasi we need it already,” paliwanag pa niya.
   
Nilinaw din ni Ben na lahat ng inilalabas nilang lay-out ads at billboards ay dumaan at pumasa sa panlasa ng tinatawag na AdBoard.
   
Iba-iba rin ang approach na ginagawa ng Bench sa paglu-launch ng mga modelo o endorsers kaya walang rason para ma-insecure sa isa’t isa ang kanilang image models.
   
Samantala, nang tanungin naman si Ben kung bakit si Sarah ang napili nilang karagdagang mukha ng HerBench, ang balik-tanong nito’y: “Bakit hindi?”
   
Bilib daw siya sa lakas ng appeal nito sa publiko at sa pagiging magaling at natural na singer, actress at TV host.
   
Flattered naman ang Pop Princess sa pagkakapili sa kanya ng Bench. Malaking karangalan daw na mapabilang siya sa listahan ng mga gaya nina Lucy Torres-Gomez, Rica Peralejo, Iya Villania, Alessandra de Rossi, Francine Prieto, atbp., dahil matagal na raw niyang pangarap na maging parte ng prestihiyosong Bench family.
   
Incidentally, ang mga pangalang nabanggit, kasama ang iba pang naglalakihang artista, ay nakatakdang magsama-sama’t rumampa sa magarbong annual Bench fashion show sa Araneta Coliseum sa Hulyo.
