Back2back sina Christian at Sam

Ang Pilipino STAR Ngayon 10/10/2006

Mukhang maganda ang naisip ng Stages na pagsamahin sa isang concert sina Christian Bautista, ang tinaguriang Asia’s Pop Idol at Sam Concepcion, ang Little Big Star grand prize winner na pinamagatang Back2back sa October 15, Linggo, 6 pm sa SM Mall of Asia.

Handog ito nina Christian at Sam bilang birthday treat para sa lahat ng mga fans na walang sawang sumusuporta sa kanila. Ito ay libre sa lahat at first come first served ang mga upuan.

Kakantahin ni Christian ang kanyang mga romantic hits, at si Sam naman ang bahala sa mga popular dance tunes. Kasama rin sa concert na ito si Tippy dos Santos ng Playshop Kids as special guest.

Si Christian ay patuloy na umaani ng tagumpay sa larangan ng musika hindi lamang dito sa ‘Pinas kundi maging sa ibang bansa. Sa katunayan, ang kanyang awiting "The Way You Look At Me" na pinasikat ay kasalukuyang namamayagpag ngayon sa Singapore! Magkakar’on din siya ng concert sa Fort Canning Stadium sa Singapore sa October 29.

Ang second album nito na "Completely" under Warner Music Phils. ay naging platinum na dito sa Pilipinas at ganundin sa Indonesia! Kasama rin si Christian sa Mano Po 5. Ang theme song ng Mano Po 5 ay "My Heart Has A Mind of His Own" ay kasama sa album nitong "Completely".

Si Sam naman ay tumanggap ng award na Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards bilang 2006 Pinoy Wannabe. Kasama rin ni Sam ang kanyang daddy sa isang short film na Miko, sinulat at idinerehe ni Paolo Dy, nanalo ito ng 1st prize sa 2006 Bogen Film and Video Shorts Competition sa New York. Both ABS CBN stars but not part of Star Magic, STAGES artists Christian and Sam will have their back to back concert this Sunday at 6 p.m. sa SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. Ito ang alay nina Christian at Sam para sa lahat ng mga walang sawang nagmamahal at sumusuporta sa kanila, kabilang na ang mga fans na naging inspirasyon at umiidolo sa kanila. To watch the free concert, dapat pumunta ng mas maaga dahil first come first served basis ang seats.

Ang nasabing concert is entitled Back2back Birthday Bash and directed by Audie Gemora as presented by STAGES, PLDT and Smart in cooperation with Bench, Dunkin’ Donuts, Skechers at ng St. Augustine School of Nursing. Sponsors din ang Bed Head Products, Greenwich at Kiseki Paper Products Corp.

Christian Bautista and Sam Concepcion hold free birthday concert on Oct. 15

Asia’s Pop Idol Christian Bautista and Little Big Star grand prize winner Sam Concepcion will hold a free back-to-back birthday concert on Oct. 15, Sunday, 6 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

Christian and Sam dedicate this free concert to fans who have been very supportive to their respective show biz endeavors since day one and more especially in the past few months. “This will be the perfect venue to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the fans who never fail to amaze us with their love and energy and who continuously inspire us to become better performers and role models,” says Christian.

Christian and Sam’s free birthday concert dubbed “Back2Back Birthday Bash” will feature songs their fans would want to hear from their singing idols. Asian heartthrob Christian will serenade his fans with his romantic hits while “tween idol” Sam will dish out popular dance tunes. Playshop Kids’ Tippy dos Santos will be one of the special guests. Audie Gemora directs.

The singing stars’ respective fan clubs, Christian Friends and Samsters, are all invited to watch the concert and play some games. Concert begins at 6 p.m. Fans can show up at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall as early as 4 p.m. to sign-up. Seats will be on a first come first served basis.
