Jeyrick Sigmaton

Now if this isn't reason for you to eat your vegetables, we don't know what is.

Meet #Carrotman, who is making waves on Facebook for being such a ruggedly handsome and photogenic vegetable farmer with a full basket...of carrots.

Nueva Ecija bakeshop owner Edwina T. Bandong saw the strapping lad (his real name is Jeyrick Sigmaton) while she and her friends were on their way to Sagada.

Inspired by such a perfect specimen, Edwina, who has just picked up photography as a hobby, started snapping photos of #Carrotman for the sole purpose of posting them on her Facebook page.

Those pictures quickly went viral and, as of this writing, has enjoyed more than 2,000 shares.

Suffice to say, the interwebz is now clamoring for more information about this mysterious vegetable farmer from Ogo-og, Barlig, Mountain Province.

Some netizens see a similarity between #Carrotman and Filipino actor Hero Angeles, while others insist he looks more like Korean singer Cho Min-ho.

Do we care? Hell, no. We just want a piece of that carrot stick.

How handsome carrot farmer reacted to online fame

MANILA - Jeyrick Sigmaton, whose photos recently went viral online, is thanking people who have noticed his photos.

The 21-year-old, who refused to speak in front of the camera, expressed his gratitude to those who expressed admiration.

The eldest of seven siblings, Sigmaton had to stop studying to help his parents support their family.

His father, Melvin, told ABS-CBN News he is the only one among his children who helps him in their livelihood.

Just like any other man his age, Sigmaton dreams of finishing his studies.

Sigmaton caught the attention of netizens after bakeshop owner Edwina Bandong posted his photos on her Facebook page, with many people noting how he looks like Korean superstar Lee Min Ho and Hero Angeles.
