Telenovelas still have more interesting storylines than Taiwanese or Korean drama while Japanese drama are as good! Hahahaha, more telenovelas will be remade by the networks soon... Hahahaha

There Are Three Asian Dramas to air next year but the decline could abruptly hasten!!! Considering there are more people who go for the decline......

sabi mo ha, billi.

In my view, Korean dramas are very predictable once you figured out the core pattern they usually employ for Kdrama,  which are usually repeated in many other Kdramas. Note that there are a couple of elements or core pattern that they usually use to write the drama and some are just permutation of that core pattern but still be recognizable once you get used to watching kdramas.  It's usually easy to have an idea how the drama will turn out from the very beginning because of that core pattern they use plus there are only a couple of episodes usually in the range of 16 episodes to 21 episodes, which confined the storyline and the core pattern easily recognizable if you have figured it out.  I should point out that even though Kdramas can be figured out and predicted, the creativity of kdrama writers and their utilization of good story telling technique and good directing which complement the storyline makes kdrama very interesting to watch.

sa palagay ko hindi pa nila completely na gets as a whole.

depende kung sa pagkagawa ng series kung bitin o hindi, dahil hindi pa nga masyado na replicate ang kdrama eh.

dapat nga continuous na ang decline ng Kdrama dito, but it kinda turned the other way around....

Though I sense that Heirs will be before TV patrol and GOOD doctor before Bandila????

Parang hindi nga nagdedecline..it is popular hanggang ngayon..unless ABS makes a concious effort na bawasan ang mga Kdramas..or magpalabas ang ABS ng series mula sa ibang bansa other than Korea tapos maghit..baka dun magdecline ang Kdramas..may competition na eh..I heard Thai Series na "Hormones" is good.. Thailand makes good movies..baka maganda dramas nila.

I've seen part of that thai hormones lakorn and it is very modern in appearance and story.  ganun din sana mag innovate ang teleserye natin pero na stuck yata in the past.  sana mag hire sila ng mga next generation na writers at directors na gagawa ng teleserye.
