Will K-Drama popularity in PH decline in the future?
« on: July 19, 2013, 07:54:21 AM »
Latin telenovelas was hugely popular in the Philippines in the 90's but today, it seemed to have declined in popularity from it's peak way back before.  I'm thinking, will K-Drama or K-Pop in the Philippines take the same route as Latin telenovelas before it?  I'm interested to know what anyone would like to say about this.

Ano nga ba yung average TV ratings ng mga KDrama o kaya yung pinaka mataas na TV ratings so far?

this year its Rooftop Prince sa 5PM slot with 17.3% yata ang pinakamataas.

It might decline if there are more people who go against its broadcast in the major networks.

Yeah, Pero Hindi pa yan mangyayari anytime sooner. In several months' time Baka every Kdrama ABS acquires will air here soon after they acquire it...

Magbabalik ang telenovela sa free TV here. It might as well contribute to the KDrama decline here.

Since Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, nakita ko na lang doon, tinanggal ang Faith and Can't Lose sa upcoming......

THIS MUST BE THE SLOW BEGINNING OF THE DECLINE.
