The Minnesota Vikings have exercised their fifth-year contract option on cornerback Trae Waynes.

The move was made Monday by the Vikings Joe Thomas Jersey Youth (http://www.clevelandbrownsteamonline.com/joe-thomas-jersey) , who drafted Waynes with the 11th overall pick in the first round in 2015. He was the first cornerback taken that year.

Waynes has been a starter for the last two seasons, opposite All-Pro Xavier Rhodes. Waynes has five interceptions and 35 passes defensed in his career and was credited by the Vikings with 72 tackles in 2017.

Picking up the option gives the Vikings a window of almost two years to sign Waynes to an extension before he can hit free agency. They have yet to reach a new deal with linebacker Anthony Barr Ty Montgomery Jersey Elite (http://www.greenbaypackersteamonline.com/ty-montgomery-jersey) , the 2014 first-round draft pick now in the final year of his rookie contract.

Olympic skier Bode Miller and his wife, Morgan Denzel Ward Jersey Youth (http://www.clevelandbrownsteamonline.com/denzel-ward-jersey) , hope that by talking about their 19-month daughter’s drowning death, they can prevent other parents from experiencing such heartbreak.

The couple appeared in their first public interview Monday on NBC’s ”Today” show.

Morgan described visiting her neighbor’s home with their children in June when she realized that daughter Emmy was missing. She saw a sliver of light coming from the door leading to the backyard and said her ”heart sank.” She opened the door and saw her child floating in the pool.

Their child died the next day at a hospital. Bode Miller said her brain went too long without oxygen.

Bode Miller said talking about her death helps them to heal and maybe helps prevent it from happening to other parents.
