Kim Soo-hyeon and Lee Hyun-woo in Running Man

Actors Kim Soo-hyeon and Lee Hyun-woo will be appearing in an entertainment program.

Kim Soo-hyeon will be starring in the SBS TV program "Running Man". He's come back to this show after his first time in June last year.

Kim Soo-hyeon decided to appear on this program for the promotional reasons of his upcoming movie "Secretly and Greatly". Actor Lee Hyun-woo, who is in the same agency as him and co-actor of the movie, will be making an appearance too.

The recording is going to take place on the 13th of May near Seoul. Kim Soo-hyeon hopes to get as many responses he did the last time he was in this program.

Kim Soo-hyeon's "Secretly and Greatly" is based on an original web-toon about a North Korean agent living in the South. The other casts include Park Ki-woong, Lee Hyun-woo, Son Hyeon-joo and more. To be released on the 5th of June.

i agree with some of the responses here. "a werewolf boy" is a must watch film. :) it's considered as south korea's most successful movie of 2012 and the most successful korean melodrama of all time (based on ticket sales and critical reviews). it's really incomparable to any vampire/monster-loves-a-human-girl type of movies. i like those kind of movies but this is way, way better and one must watch it to find out why... :)

this is my favorite scene from the movie: the old lady meets the wolf boy. such a powerful, emotional scene... :')
Yeah favorite romantic fantasy film ko yang werewolf boy. Favorite scene ko yung unang nag salita c chul-soo ... "kajima~~~" ouucch broke my heart </3 Nakita mo na yung alternate ending? I think its better than the original, you should watch it, I think princess_amidala posted it somewhere in this thread.

Anyways welcome sa forums! Hope to see you here more often ;)

Sana magpalabas uli cla ng dubbed movies sa Kapamilya Blockbusters kc ung last one was last year yata, isang thai film.

Ipalabas nila:-

> Cyrano: Dating Agency movie
> Paradise Kiss (J-Film)

Kung hindi pa napapalabas:

> Baby And Me
> Speedy Scandal
> Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti Do

Kung kakayanin ng budget - A Werewolf Boy/The Thieves

Alessandra de Rossi stars in upcoming Korean movie ‘The Mango Tree’

Actress Alessandra de Rossi stars in the upcoming romantic-comedy Korean movie, The Mango Tree, directed by Lee Soo-Sung.

The movie was shot in Cebu. It is about a Korean boy, played by Seo Ji-Seok, who fell in love with a Pinay, portrayed by Alessandra.

She was chosen out of the recommendation of local director Adolf Alix, Jr. who she has worked with in the indie films Romeo at Juliet and Mater Dolorosa.

The Mango Tree is her second foreign movie. The first was Singapore’s The Maid back in 2005.

She has already worked with Korean crew before when she did ABS-CBN’s Green Rose so she is already aware of their work ethics.

“Nine days kaming nag-shoot doon nila Jake Cuenca at Anne Curtis kaya alam ko na kung gaano sila ka-professional pagdating sa trabaho,” Alex, as she is called in showbiz circles, said. “’Tsaka may oras talaga sila. Kapag sinabing eight hours lang ang trabaho, eksaktong eight hours lang.”

===========================

Filipino actress Alessandra de Rossi shares the screen with a Koreanovela star in the South Korean film “Mango Tree.”

Directed by Lee Soo-sung, “Mango Tree” top-bills Seo Ji-seok, who appeared in TV shows like “Pure in Heart,” “Mr. Goodbye,” “Manny” and “Ireland” and movies like “The Etudes of Love” and “The Bow.”

De Rossi’s scenes were shot in Cebu recently. (Filipino actor Richard Quan is in the cast, too.) She spent two days in Cebu and, from the airport, went straight to the Cultural Center of the Philippines for the Cinemalaya launch last week.  She top-bills Gil M. Portes’ “The Liars,” an entry in the Directors’ Showcase of the indie fest.

Int’l film

It’s not De Rossi’s first international film. She appeared in the 2005 Singaporean thriller “The Maid,” directed by Kelvin Tong; and in the 2009 Taiwanese comedy “Pinoy Sunday,” directed by Wi Ding Ho.

It’s her second time to work with a Korean crew. “The first time was on (the 2011 ABS-CBN soap) ‘Green Rose,’ which had scenes set in South Korea, where we taped for nine days,” she said. “A new working environment always excites me, even if that means I’ll be working with a foreign team.”

Lee said De Rossi’s role was “important,” if brief. He explained: “She is the reason that a young Korean comes back to the Philippines.”

Filipino filmmaker Adolfo Alix Jr. led the Korean production to De Rossi. “Among the Filipino actresses he recommended, De Rossi best suited the role of Maria, a simple girl,” Lee said.

“Mango Tree” is Lee’s third feature film. His previous movies are the romantic-comedy “House with a Good View” (“Rent” in 2012) and the thriller “Mr. Zombie” (2010). He trained in Japan.

Described as a romantic-comedy, “Mango Tree” also features Hong Soo-ah, who acted in TV shows (“The Great King’s Dream,” “I Believed a Guy” and “My Precious You”) and movies (“101st Proposal,” “She’s on Duty,” “Face” and “My Wife is a Gangster 2”).

^Congrats kay Alex! Special participation lang yata pero achievement na yan! ;D

Yung movie ni Mario i-di-distribute pala ng Star Cinema! Good luck! Heard it was the highest grossing film in Thailand mapanood nga hehe :))

Sana Star Cinema would also start distributing Korean films, sayang na miss na nila ung Thieves at Werewolf Boy cguro madami manonood nun. Maybe they can distribute Secretly, Greatly kahit medyo late na. PLEASE!!

Also #BringbackAsianfilmsonKapamilyaBlockbusters !! They can show Don't Worry I'm a ghost ni Park Shin Hye :) Short movie lang un. Ganda pero nakakaiyak.

Me too! When he said "kajima," I literally cried. I cried buckets of tears in this movie that it is so good!

Please ABS-CBN, please get the following films,

* Werewolf Boy (starring Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Young)
* Ranma 1/2 (yung movie, starring Aragaki Yui, Kaku Kento, and Natsuna)
* Paradise Kiss (yung movie, starring Kitagawa Keiko and Mukai Osamu)
* Secretly, Greatly (starring Kim Soo Hyun)
