PBB Teen Edition Plus Beats Rivals,
Kapitan Boom Beats Pinoy Idol

3 ABS-CBN shows were able to trample top-rating GMA programs last weekend. The Big Night of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus was able to beat Saturday leaders Bitoy’s Funniest Videos and Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho. Even the last episode of PBB before the Big Night last Friday was able to beat it’s rival Pinoy Idol. The Saturday edition of Pinoy Idol was also beaten by it’s ABS- CBN rival Kapitan Boom. ABS-CBN’s winning streak continued until late night when XXX halted the flight of Regine Velasquez’ Songbird.


Here are the Comparative TV Ratings from June 6 (Friday) to June 8 (Sunday) based on the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households



June 7, Saturday:

Takeshi’s Castle 17.7% vs. Game Ka Na Ba 10.6%;

Eat Bulaga 24.6% vs. Wowowee 16.6%;

Startalk 23.3% vs. Entertainment Live 10.2%;

Wish Ko Lang 17.5% vs. Cinema FPJ 14.3%;

Pinoy Records 11.3% vs. That’s My Doc 12.3%;

Pinoy Idol 18% vs. Komiks Presents Kapitan Boom 21.8%;

Bitoy’s Funniest Video 26.5% at Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho 26.6% vs. PBB TEP Finals 33.8%;

Imbestigador 22.1% vs. TV Patrol 21.4%;

Songbird 8.4% vs. XXX 16.6%;

Sine Totoo 7.7% vs. Sports Unlimited 4%.

Robi’s dad admits, 'We’re a bit disappointed'

The Teen Big Four Beauty, Nicole, Robi, and Big Winner Ejay attended their first press conference last Tuesday, June10th. Unfortunately, Robi had to leave early as he has to go to school for his enrollment. But after the 2nd Teen Placer left, his father, Doc Boy Domingo, was asked if he was disappointed that his son only placed second during the Big Night. Doc Boy said "I would admit that we were a bit disappointed because before the Big Night, a lot of people were congratulating us already saying that malakas daw yung anak ko. Robi topped all the votes during previous evictions, and we were hoping that on the Big Night he would win."

Ejay was hailed as Teen Big Winner when he got 36.31% votes over Robi who had 34.39% votes. In last Sunday’s The Buzz, Robi said that he wasn’t disappointed being just a runner-up. Doc Boy has also learned to come to terms with the public’s decision. "When the results came, we accepted and respected the decision. Ganun talaga, in any competition you have to accept the result." he says.

On the other hand, the father of Ejay, Daddy Erning, dismisses the theory that his son only won because of sympathy votes, that the people only voted for Ejay because they felt the teen housemate needed the prize more than the other housemates. "Hindi po totoo yun. Kung ayaw po talaga ng tao sa anak ko, hindi po siya iboboto. Mga tao po ang bumuto sa anak ko. Kung para lang po sa mga mahihirap yung Pinoy Big Brother, dapat walang mayayaman, puro mahihirap lang po." he explains.

Like his son, Daddy Erning was also voted by fans as Guardian Big Winner when the teens’ guardians had their Big Night a month ago. Daddy Erning was awarded with P500,000 as cash prize

SAGLIT naming nakaharap ang Big Four ng Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition sa The Buzz noong Linggo nang gabi, nang dalawin namin ang hindi pa rin maitataob ng kahit na sinong host sa kanyang kinalalagyan na si Kuya Boy Abunda.

Unang ipinakilala sa amin ang ‘pasaway’ at aminado namang maingay dahil lang sa kanyang pagpapatotoo na si Beauty. At ang sabi pa ng dalaga, nadagdagan daw talaga ang kanyang timbang sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya dahil nga sa pressure at depression na kanyang kinaharap. Kaya nga raw sa tuluyan nilang paglabas sa bahay, kaagad na siyang nag-after six diet.

At tungkol naman sa napalapit sa puso niyang si Alex, firm pa rin si Beauty on her ground na as long as may girlfriend pa ito, hindi nga maaaring mag-prosper ang anumang nasimulan nilang magandang relasyon nila sa loob ng bahay.

like me im youth and always inspired in life.. Robi caught my attention watching pbb days.. I really feel robi's big heart to his fellow housemates, very discipline, simple, bright and cute and most of all humble and have faith to God.. yan ang nakita ko sa attitude ni robi .. hindi niya ko know pero proud ako sa kanya dahil despite na rich en smart person siya hindi niya yun ginamit sa mali para maging dominante at mayabang sa lahat ng kapwa niya housemates. instead he humble himself en nakibagay para sa maayos na pakikisama.at napaka simple niya tlga.

good role model siya sa youth at sa lahat. lahat my natutunan sa ipinakita niya ..continue being good example robi..he showed a true filipino youth en a family oriented person. proud ako sa kanya bilang taga hanga niya   because of his good attitude. family nmen love siya pray nmen ke robi maging success siya sa buhay niya specifically sa studies ,showbiz career niya at right girl niya in da future.love namen xa tlga. naway maging super sikat na matinee idol xa. Godbless robi.

Kung hindi kailangan ni Robi na manalo, bakit pa siya pumasok? Matinding effort ang ginawa ni Robi para lang manalo. Nagtimpi siya, hindi nagalit at naitago ang other side. Pera lang ba ang kailangan? Bakit naman magiging deserving si Robi? Ano ano ba ang ginawa niya para mangibabaw sa bahay, bukod sa pagpipigil at pag-gamit ng talino para itago ang natural niya, ang gaya ng reklamo ni Nan, na nang aagaw ng mga tasks at eksena. Boring masyado si Robi, at kung pareho sila ng katayuan sa buhay ni Ejay, Matalag nang talsik yan sa bahay. Payag na rin akong pang #4 si Robi. Yong #2 & #3, na evict na earlier. haven't you ever experienced the clogging of network lines during christmas and new year? ganun lang din ang nangyari dito. because so many people wanted to vote for their respective bets, hindi na kinaya ng 2366 ang magreply sa bawat boto nyong pumapasok. and do take note, 2366 is a special access number.  kung yung mga regular numbers nga (e.g. 0917xxxx, 0920xxxx, etc.) nacocongest if bombarded with text messages, pano pa kaya un?

also, hindi ba sa pag-uunlitxt mo ganun din ang nangyayari? matagal ang reply that "you can now use the unlitext services" when in fact, pwede mo na yun gamitin kahet wala pa ang confirmation.

so don't jump into conclusions. analyze people. analyze.
