MANILA, Philippines—Not a day goes by that I don’t miss my mom. But in some inexplicable way, I feel her presence now more than ever.

Being Inday Badiday’s daughter will always be my best credential. Even now that she’s gone, people who recognize me still say, “Uy! Anak ni Inday o!”

I can’t help but smile every time I hear that. It only goes to show that my mom left a permanent dent in people’s hearts.

As Mother’s Day draws near, here are some celebs’ mini tribute to their moms. Time to smother our mothers with well-deserved accolades! Here’s to you, my superwoMOM!
