Tanging si Martin lang daw ang pwedeng sumagot niyan kaya ayaw na niyang magsalita.

“But I feel bad for Santino, if it’s true,” pahabol na pahayag ni Pops.
Kay Santino lang ba ang simpatiya niya?

Kahit kanino man daw ito mangyari ay nakalulungkot at nakaaawa kung sino man ang involved, pero ayaw raw niyang kumpirmahin dahil isyu ito ni Martin at out na raw siya roon.

Ayaw ring sagutin ni Pops ang isyung may ba­lak na raw silang magpa­kasal ni Jomari Yllana sa Agosto ngayong taon.

Matagal na raw pinag-uusapan iyun, pero hindi raw nila ito itatago sakaling may balak na silang dalawa.

MANILA, Philippines - Got this intriguing e-mail from a certain myrnagonzales:

“If you want to see the pix of Martin Nievera’s rumored new girl, check out their sweet poses at the Power Plant studio.”

Martin Nievera has vehemently denied rumors that his latest paramour is a certain Angie who’s said to be the stepdaughter of a prince. Hmmm … so she’s got royal blood! Katrina Ojeda (Martin’s current partner) better hope that the Concert King’s got Loyal blood.

I asked Pops Fernandez for her reaction to this latest twist in her ex-husband’s life. She didn’t bother to comment. Some questions are better left unanswered.

Pops being courted by a Sta. Lucia player?

How true is it that a basketball player is courting the very much attached singer-actress Pops "The Concert Queen" Fernandez?

The rumors apparently started when the Concert Queen was spotted in Araneta Coliseum Wednesday night, rooting for the Sta. Lucia Realtors squad which is in the running for the Philippine Basketball Association finals.

According to one source, Fernandez came as a "special guest" of the team.

"Special request siya ng Sta. Lucia. Parang inspiration kumbaga para manalo sila. (Her presence was a special request of the Sta. Lucia team. The players look at her as an inspiration to help them win)," said the source.

Local showbiz is a-buzz however that Fernandez received "special treatment" from one particular Sta. Lucia cager.

"Special ang treatment kay Pops ng basketball player dahil alam mo naman ‘yan, talagang malakas ang dating sa mga boys kahit na younger than her. (Pops received special treatment from the basketball player; you know how irresistible she is to younger guys)," confided one informant who works for ABC Sports.

Fernandez came early to the game, obviously without boyfriend actor Jomari Yllana. According to people close to her, she does like basketball but doesn’t usually watch the game.

Sources add that that for some reason, couldn't say no to the invitation. They said Fernandez went out of her way to squeeze the game into her schedule, purportedly to keep a promise to a "friend."

So is it true that a Sta. Lucia player is courting Pops?

"’Yan nga ang usap-usapan sa buong PBA ngayon. Isang player ang talagang nais makasama nang matagal si Pops. Pero pag tinanong mo naman ang mga taga-Sta. Lucia, deny-to-death kahit na may isa ro’n na nanlalaki ang mga mata pag nakikita si Pops," the informant revealed.

(That is the talk in the PBA. One player is supposedly deadset about spending time with Pops. But if you ask people from the Sta. Lucia team, they all deny it, although one of them obviously keeps oggling Pops.)

The rumors follow at the heels of earlier buzz linking Yllana to a certain "beautiful lady from the South". Fernandez however has denied that she and Jomari are going through rough times.

"Mararamdaman ko naman kung talagang totoo ang mga tsismis. (I would be able to feel it if the rumors about Jomari are true)," Fernandez said in a previous interview.

Pops kicks off "Divalicious" local concert tour in GenSan

Hot on the heels of last December’s successful "Divalicious" concert spectacle at the Araneta Coliseum, "Concert Queen" Pops Fernandez reprises the pomp and grandeur of her 25th anniversary/birthday shebang as she kicks off the equally electrifying "Divalicious" Concert Tour this month.

It’s going to be a swinging, nostalgic dance/retro party as Pops and her guests relive the hits of the 80s as well as their own chart-topping favorites.

The series kicks off today, Feb. 29, at 7 p.m. at the Lagao Gymnasium, General Santos City as part of the city’s post-Kalilangan Festival Celebration, and is also for the benefit of Gen. Santos City Tourism. Guests include Jay-R, Geneva Cruz, Danilo Barrios, Jimmy Marquez, with the special participation of Ram and Robin Nievera.

The next leg is on March 1, 7 p.m. at the South Cotabato Gymnasium, City of Koronadal, with guests Jay-R, Kris Lawrence, Geneva Cruz, Danilo Barrios and Ram and Robin Nievera.

Both concerts are produced by Expo Manila in cooperation with Fitmart Mall, ABS-CBN and 92.7 MOR, together with the city of Koronadal and the province of South Cotabato. Tickets are available at Fitmart and Gaisano Mall. Musical director is Mel Villena.

Nakita namin sa fight si Pops Fernandez at hindi naman talaga gown ang suot niya although normal lang sa mga tao sa Las Vegas na magsuot ng ganoon kahit nanonood lang ng isang laban gaya ng kay Manny Pacquiao.

Kung nandito lang kayo ay mas marami pa ang mga nakasuot na pormal na makikintab pa, na hindi naman isyu at normal na nanonood.

Pops at Jom, break na?

WALANG umaamin, pero nakikita ang ebidensiya.
    
Nang huling pumunta sa Boracay si Pops Fernandez, marami ang na-shock na hindi niya kasama ang boyfriend na si Jomari Yllana.
   
Walang explanation. Basta bigla na lang naging inaccessible si Pops sa mga interbyu. Nakabibingi ang kayang silence. Obvious daw na umiiwas itong mapag-usapan si Jomari.
   
At totoo ba ito? Sa Boracay, sa piling ng mga kaibigang babae, panay daw ang laklak ng alak ni Pops?

Ano ba ang true? Tapos na nga ba ang lahat sa kanila, as in, break na sina Pops at Jomari?
   
May ilang nagtatanong, ganu’n daw ba kadaling magsawa ng ex-dyowa ni Aiko Melendez?
   
Una si Aiko, tapos si Ara Mina, ngayon, si Pops.
   
Kelan kaya matututong umibig nang tunay ang isang Jomari Yllana?
