I am from Ireland and i thought people might want to hear a europeans perspective on the events of the tuli

I find it strange that it was such a big deal in the Phillipenes unlike over here. Even though Ireland has a catholic majority most people dont go to church or read the bible of anything like that so religion is barely ever featured on our tv shows. In our version ( bbuk ) of Big Brother which has run for 8 normal 5 celebrity 1 teen and 1 celebrity hijack series housemates would never even think about talking about something so personal with people they just met. Even though nudity profanity and fighting is shown uncensored on our primetime we would never see anything like that! Also I meant to ask is it painful?

respetuhan na lang siguro ng kultura. hindi sa for o against ako sa pagtutuli pero kung iyon talaga ang kultura natin eh sana intindihin na lang ng iba. nakakabahala lang kasi yung mga nababasa ko rito na para bang minamaliit yung sariling kultura kasi di iyon ang ginagawa ng ibang bansa. may kanya-kanyang pinanggalingan na mga karanasan ang iba't ibang bansa kaya di mo basta-basta dapat husgahan ang mga gawi at kilos ng mga ito.

that's the problem here in the philippines... there aren't any nudity, profanity shown that's why a simple circumcision is a big deal.... come to think of it, its nudity (none was shown thank god) and profanity ( I was waiting for alex to swear because of the pain but anesthesia took the fun away) so there you have it.
