what was the reason for release? was there any court hearing? selling of illegal drugs is a big crime!

"Santiago said Manny was released Wednesday after Manila Regional Trial Court Judge Avelino Vargas allowed him to post a P400,000-bail bond.

Santiago said he was surprised after learning that the younger Lim was released on bail. He said the case filed against the mayor's son was in violation of Section 5 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act, which is non-bailable."

Hugas kamay si mayor Lim? Or "Hawak kamay" parin sila ng anak niya?

I have been telling you all  around. That's a concrete sample of Chinese dishonesty and corruption that is ruining the country. What this means is that a Chinese son of a Chinese politician sold drugs probably made millions (to fund another China Town or some real estate project and etc.)  and at the same time destroys many lives of non-Chinese or Filipinos, got caught and can just get away with it by paying up bails to a crime that is non-bailable. The Chinese are the most corrupt and anti-Filipino people but the public don't know about it because they are experts in hiding their crimes and corrupt practices.

If I'm not mistaken, they are trying to tell the media that his son is only a user not a pusher. Keep in mind that Lim's son was caught in a buy bust operation not in a session.

Under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, persons caught with more than 50 grams of shabu are prevented from posting bail. Mayor Lim's son was caught with a 100 grams of shabu. What the heck?!!!

I HAVE A QUESTION,  ISN'T IT POSSIBLE THAT A USER WAS ALSO THERE  BUYING SOME DRUGS AT THE TIME WHEN THE COPS DID BUY BUST OPERATION?

regardless kung user ka or pusher as long as na mahulihan ka ng amount na sinabi ni lolo tapoy ay unbailable offense na yon...pero depende rin talaga kung sino ang hinuli kung ordinaryong tao yan malamang mabubulok na yan sa kulungan..
