Hi Lolo Tapoy-----------------Puede bang sumali dito ?  Tama ang information na binigay ninyo at  ng anak mo.  You only need one main ID card, either a  Drivers License or State ID Card para sa mga hindi nag-da-drive. If you already have a drivers license you dont need a State ID card.  Your legal documents, legal status, citizenship has been verified by the DMV dept and all your personal  data are stored  in their main data base computer system.  Illegal aliens can not have drivers lic.nor State ID card. I made a list on what kind of documents are required & needed to get a Drivers License or State ID Card in USA. 

 The State Drivers License OR the State ID Card ----- is the main State ID card issued by the Dept.of Motor Vehicles for all Citizens & permanent resident aliens.  Both Cards look identical except one says DMV drivers lic.  & the other says ID.

We've been facing too much crisis this few months just like the Rice and we are trying to Identify each person if they really reside on that area. Or just trying to control the situation. But how can we control it without even authentic Identification for each person. Aside from that have you heard the chinese who was caught in the airport he doesnt even know how to speak in tagalog. Ive seen too much already in Recto chinese who is the owner of an stall but she could not speak in english or even in Filipino then her pinay assistan called by her. By the national ID i guess this will eradicate the illegal entry,legal ID for private and public requirements and if there is a government program can easily determine the real information.

National ID system is like your Identity that you are citizen of Philippines. This serve as a control if need just like the crisis we encounter for the past few months. So they are trying to create a system to identify and control those person who really reside on that barangay. Another thing is that you can easiyl ask to anybody about there National Id if they are suspecting that you are alien specially in our case too many chinese which you dont know if they are just a Tsinoy or chinese already at least police can ask their National Id to prove that they are Filipino citizen.Just like in Taiwan they call it resident ID, in Saudi Iqama or Resident Id's for the Expatriate. In that manner we Identify who really illegal alien and can use to other purposes too in private and in public use. Drivers license is different one it is not mandatory to have license ID but in National you are force to secure one.This is long term solution rather than issuing different kind of Ids which only waste funds again.After the program of the government again it useless again. So think about the National IDs system for out own good and long term solution for Identity of true citizen Filipino.

Is there any more harder of spending money and then when you dont need it you will get again and try to secure or gathered again the information??How do you determine an alien chinese inside the country????If you can easily acquired a NSO, which you can already get a philippine passport and easily get an Drivers Licens???????????

The purpose of securing the ID is to identify that you are bonified citizen and that proves that you have a record from NSO, which later on each barangay will ask for your residency when you are taking a barangay clearance to issue an clearance you just present this ID to know the important information like birthday your real name. Meaning the information you gave to the barangay is your truly name and age. Which eradicate the use of forge age and name.Even your poor you are entitled to get one for the personal used in the future. To have this meaning you dont have to authenticate everytime to the NSO to prove that you have this birthday and name.But for the first time to get of course you have to authenticate it to be issued a National ID.

Good morning Lolo......10 am dito sa calif right now.  Mabuti naman at nakarating kayo dito at nakita ninyo ang malaking kaibahan ng buhay dito. Well discipline ang mga Kano dahil bata pa sila ay na-train na sila dahil iba ang ugali nila at culture. It is easy to catch people who are criminals or illegal aliens with  fake ID's by the law enforcement agencies because America's system is 100% nationwide computerized, they are inter-connected in all 50 States. The FBI, Police agencies, DMV, Social Security office & other govt. agencies computers  are linked to each other. So, they have  easy access to your information if you are a criminal & they can easily catch you anywhere in USA. Ex: if you moved from Calif. to Nevada & you are applying for a new Nevada DMV Lic.....Nevada can get your data from the Calif.DMV through their computer system.

Prince is right....they do background check when you apply for housing/loans, opening bank accts., applying for job  through their computer connection to all kinds of agencies . Example,if you are opening bank acct or credit card........the banks computer  is link to the credit bureau Company. They can check your credit history and they can approve or disapprove your application in a second.   If they are HIGHLY IN DOUBT ABOUT YOUR Identity, they will usually ask for your original documentations .

There are also bad people  here who commit all kinds of crimes . There are those who sells FAKE IDS like Soc.sec.Card, Green cards, DMV licenses to illegal aliens. Sometimes the illegals with fake ID are caught specially if they are applying for job. When they apply for work the employer HAS TO SEE your original documents . So if they have nothing to show, they are not hired.

FYI --- The DMV licenses in all 50 States has been the Main ID in America for over 50 years now...... ( it is safe for me to say since they invented the Automobiles.)

It is time for the Philippines to have a Main ID Card....puede nilang gayahin ang mga requirements sa America. Problema lang sa Philippines, it is not yet 100% nationwide computerized.....I mean....hindi connected ang mga govt. agencies at law enforcement agencies throughout the whole country from Luzon, Visaya to Mindanao due to lack of computers. Tama ba o mali  ako ?

Good morning Lolo......10 am dito sa calif right now.  Mabuti naman at nakarating kayo dito at nakita ninyo ang malaking kaibahan ng buhay dito. Well discipline ang mga Kano dahil bata pa sila ay na-train na sila dahil iba ang ugali nila at culture. Kaya ang pinoy na nakatira dito ay kailangan sumunod sa batas dahil dayo  sila dito.....siyempre hindi ka tagarito....you have to obey their laws. America is a very rich country, they have everything here. Kaya maganda matira dito, nandito na lahat ang kailangan mo........Maraming trabaho, masagana ang buhay. Here in Sweden we have i think similar like US a social security # 501213(born)-1234(code) with this you can find out absolutely everything about that person income ,house, loans , criminal history, shoe number , etc etc in a few seconds,, now they also going to implement forced DNA register for all criminals that are find guilty in court

And this can be accesed in all EU-countrys 

for every citizen right, there is a duty. if the citizenry has the right to free speech, there must be a corresponding duty to self-police and control that speech such that it doesn't get misused or abused.

if it is the state's wish to come up with an id system, and if indeed we have a right to anonymity (although this is nowhere documented in any country i know of), the government must balance that with the duty to preserve our identity.

i see no privacy policy being published by the government.
