JAYJAY101: SA U.S. AT JAPAN, KAAGAD AY MAGRE-RESIGN ANG MGA NASA GOBIERNO. SA ATING BANSA, KAILANMAN AY
HINDI BIBITIW SA KANILANG MGA PUWESTO........PAKAPALAN NG MUKHA, KAHIT ALAM NA NG BUONG BAYAN ANG GINAWA
NILANG MGA PANG-AABUSO SA KANILANG PUWESTO.
HINDI LANG ANG MGA NASA PUWESTO ANG " CORRUPT" PATI NA RIN ANG IBA NATING MGA KABABAYAN.
I live in Japan and somehow numerous scandals had emerged here but usually involving big corporate companies and their stewards. Not all cases ended in resignations but a good number concluded with convicted personalities that have ended up in prisons. Resignations here in a large percentage are not self-decided cases but usually "forced-resignations" decided by a group of people(like board of directors of a company..etc.). Personally made resignations here are those who had succumbed to pressure or were usually humbled by facts that were used as strong evidences. A good number also ended in suicides.
What I like about the people here is that they are very paticular with facts and figures. They tend to only believe in things that were strongly proven.. They seldom lash out at someone when they cannot present to it that the alleged is true.
Anyway...
certain forms of corruption exists in every society even in children( like bullies..etc.)....Its agreeable that pati na rin mga normal natin mga kababayan are in a some ways doing it. Eliminating corruption doesn't only begin with the government but with every Filipino himself instilling discipline and stopping the "little things" which are in some technalities a form of corruption...
(^o^)Y
VERY WELL SAID..............IT STARTS WITHIN OURSELVES NOT JUST THE PEOPLE IN GOVERNMENT, THE SEVERE LACK OF DISCIPLINE
BY OUR FELLOW FILIPINOS REALLY SLOWS DOWN OUR PROGRESS AS A NATION. AND EVEN WORST, SO MUCH CORRUPT
OFFICIALS FROM ALL LEVELS WITHIN THE GOVERNMENT REALLY HURTS OUR COUNTRY.
I would tend to agree. Stamping out corruption would need to start from the Filipino people themselves. However, the effort also requires leadership involvement. The initiative should be sparked by top leadership. For instance, if GMA were to say let's go after the corrupts in our bureaucracy by going after senior cabinet officers within her administration and senators/batasan members, this might actually send a signal to the Filipino people that she is finally sincere in her effort to rid the country of this problem of corruption once and for all and finally get their act together. See the problem here? Sa ngayon, it seems most of the corruption scandals are emanating from GMA's own circle.
Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It's the courage to continue that counts.
