PINOYS IN THE U.S. PROUD OF KRIS

FRIENDS from the U.S. tell us they’ve seen the “Around the World, Philippines” episode of “Deal or No Deal” and they’re proud of Kris Aquino’s performance as co-host of Howie Mandel who  marveled at how our lovely 26K girls strut carrying their briefcases and the party atmosphere created by the lively Pinoy audience that cheered and danced when briefcases containing low prizes were eliminated.  ”Here in the Philippines, the people party!” exclaimed Howie during the taping of the special episode held at the ABS-CBN studio.

We are one of three countries that’s part of the show’s world tour. Originally scheduled to be aired on May 7, the Philippine episode turned out so good that the producers decided to air last May 5 ahead of the Estonian and the South African episodes.  ABS-CBN business unit head Alou Almaden of “Kapamilya: Deal or No Deal” said this special episode will also be shown here soon.

Howie introduced Kris on the air as the daughter of former President Corazon Aquino and mentioned that the country’s airport was named after her father. Kris looked radiant in a red gown by Pepsi Herrera. She taught Howie her signature gesture when asking the contestants if it is a deal or no deal. Kris’ gesture is one of the striking differences between the Philippines and the US version and was even used by the American contestants.

The two-hour special also showed Howie arriving at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, taking the pedicab with the 26K girls, visiting Quiapo, and posing as a promo boy at a supermarket. He learned a few Filipino words from Kris like “Pare” in addressing a male friend and “Buksan mo na” when asking a 26K girl to open the briefcase. He assisted two American contestants, who flew with their family members, in playing the numbers game following the Philippine version’s rules.

The first contestant, Mike Levy, loved the local food specifically sisig. The second contestant, Patrick Hook, was given a food challenge mid-way, wherein he would eat chicken legs, fish eyes, or balut in order to increase the banker’s offer. At the end of the taping, Howie thanked the Filipino people profusely for the hospitality extended to him and his production crew during his stay and the audience for their enthusiasm.

IBA’T  IBANG feedbacks  ang aming nababasa at naririnig tungkol sa naging hosting job ni Kris Aquino sa Deal or no Deal na ipinalabas sa Amerika nu'ng nakaraang linggo.  May ilang nagsasabing nagmukha umanong extra lang si Kris dahil naka-focus ang lahat kay Howie Man-del na siyang American host ng DOND.
    
May mga nagsasabi rin na sana ay hindi na raw pumayag si Kris na  mag-host kasama si Mandel dahil naisantabi  lang siya sa programa nito. Ganoon?
   
Taliwas naman ang komento ng isang malapit sa amin na naka-base ngayon sa U.S.
   
Aniya, super proud daw ang mga kababayan natin do-on dahil isang kagaya ni Kris ang nakasama ni Mandel sa show nito na ipinalabas pa sa Amerika.
   
Lutang na lutang daw kasi ang pagiging smart ni Kristeta at  hindi raw napa-hiya ang mga Pinoy sa pagi-ging articulate ng lady TV host.
   
Ipinagmalaki pa raw ni Mandel ang co-host bilang anak ng dating Pangulo ng  Pilipinas at siyempre proud din si Kris na ang ama niya'y isang kilalang bayani ng  bansa natin.        
   
Well, maaaring at some point ay hindi natin gusto ang istilo ni Kris na pagiging prangka nito at  taklesa.
   
Hindi rin siya loveable lalo na sa press.
   
Pero, hindi rin natin maitatangging she's one host na talagang alam ang ginagawa at articulate.
   
Hindi siya nakahihiyang isalang lalo na 'pag mga inglesero ang kaharap.
   
May ibubuga siya kum-baga.

Habang pinanonood namin ang mga kilos at mata sa matang pag-uusap nina Gabby Concepcion at Kris Aquino with matching Boy Abunda on the side sa programang Boy & Kris nu’ng Lunes ng umaga, parang gusto namin itong lapatan ng background music na may lyrics na... “I saw you last night, I’ve got the same old feelings...,” kaso nga, kinunan ’yon ng day at hindi night effect.
    
Sa nakita naming body language at eye contact sa isa’t isa nina Gabby at Kris, tipong ang mas bagay yatang background music nila ay ’yung awiting may lyrics na... “I remember the boy (or girl), but I don’t remember the feeling anymore...,” tsuk!
   
Oo naman. Porke pareho nang happy sa kani-kanilang lovelife ngayon ang dalawa at kung anumang memories ang namagitan sa kanila noon, Ateng Lolit Solis, well past is past.        
   
Time changes and so do people. And... feelings. Yezzz, feelings... nothing more than feelings... trying to forget my...feelings of love...,” kinanta pa raw namin, o! Hahaha!
   
’Sensya na, frustrated singer ang lolah n’yo, hehe.
   
At kung nakapag-guest na si Gabby sa Boy & Kris, malamang mag-guest na rin ang aktor sa Wheel of Fortune hosted alone by Kris tuwing 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, dahil pareho naman silang belong sa Kapamilya Network.
   
Ma-i-segue lang daw sa WOF, o! Hahaha!
   
In fairness, magaling magpaikot ng kanyang kapalaran si Gabby, lalo na nu’ng maranasan niyang kumayod nang husto sa U.S. of A. for 13 long years, pero ang fortune palang hinahanap niya ay sa ABS-CBN lang makakamtan, devah naman, Mommy Rose F.?

Sa totoo lang, nagulat kami nang mapanood namin  recently si Kris Aquino sa Wheel of Fortune.
   
Ang laki na ng ipinayat niya at may curve na uli ang kanyang katawan.
   
Actually, dapat daw ay noon pa man pumayat na siya. Kaso, muntik na nga siyang mabuntis.
   
Kaya, pabiro nga raw na sinabi ni Kris na si Dr. Manny Calayan ang may kasalanan kung bakit nabuntis na naman siya. Sana. Nagmukha nga naman siyang sexy.
   
Well, ano ngayon, therefore, ang sikreto at nagbawas nga ng timbang si Kris in the right places, wika nga?
   
“Sinunod niya lang lahat ng payo ni Dr. Calayan,” sagot ng aming kausap, na malapit sa cosmetic surgeon. “May pills yatang ipinaiinom kay Kris na naging very effective sa pagbabawas ng timbang.”
   
Meanwhile, as we all know, may complaint against Dr. Calayan ang isa niyang naging pasyente after undergoing cosmetic enhancement.
   
But as Dr. Calayan said, he cautioned the patient about what he could and should not do with respect to the body part he was operated on as it could affect the result of the cosmetic enhancement he had performed on him.
   
Dr. Calayan further stated: “I had submitted my response to the complaint with the Makati Prosecutor’s office and had refuted all of his allegations regarding my supposed misrepresentation of my abilities as a cosmetic surgeon.
   
“I belied his claim that I was negligent and caused a deformity in his body. I never suppressed evidence in respect to his claim.”

Kris Aquino has finally shed the pounds she gained when she was pregnant with her second son, Baby James, who turned one last April 19. She now looks slim in her TV show, "Wheel of Fortune."

People close to Kris say her weight loss is not due to liposuction. Instead, she did it by following a diet created for her by Dr. Manny Calayan. The cosmetic surgeon also reportedly suggested a diet pill that Kris religiously takes.

Meanwhile, here’s a part of a press statement from Dr. Calayan regarding a case filed against him by a former patient.

"I had submitted my response to his complaint with the Makati Prosecutor’s Office, and had refused all of his allegations regarding my supposed misrepresentation of my abilities as a cosmetic surgeon. I belied his claim that I was negligent and caused a deformity in his body. I never suppressed evidence in respect to his claim.

"I continue to honor and respect complainant as a patient but will defend myself from any accusation of wrongdoing, as I now have to do in connection with his suit.

"I am willing to face the consequences of my actions. I trust in the integrity of the prosecutor’s office and the courts, and will address the priority of complainant’s grievances to protect my name and profession as a cosmetic and liposuction surgeon."

Nananabik ang mga kababayan natin na mapanood ang Philippine edition ng  Deal or No Deal na ipinalabas nila sa Amerika.

Type nilang mapanood ang Philippine edition dahil sa positive reviews na nababasa nila sa mahusay na co-hosting job ni Kris Aquino sa orig host na si Howi Mandel.

I'm sure, ipalalabas ng ABS-CBN ang Philippine edition, due to insistent public demand.

Hindi na bago ang balita na magaling na co-host si Tetay dahil talagang talented host siya.

Para que pa't nakatanggap siya ng mga recognition mula sa iba't ibang award-giving bodies?

Nakakaloka ang mga kababayan natin. Bakit hindi na lang sila maging masaya na napanood si Kris Aquino at ang 26K Girls sa US version ng Deal or No Deal (DOND)?

Talagang may mga negative comment sila tungkol sa pag-apir ni Tetay sa Deal Or No Deal. Kesyo nagmukha raw extra si Tetay at kung anik-anik pa!

To the rescue ang mga kababayan natin sa abroad na nakapanood sa Deal or No Deal at ito ang kanilang mga sey:

Mula kay VP: “‘Yung mga friends kong Canadian dito ay nakapanood ng Deal Or No Deal, nagustuhan nila ang pagho-host ni Kris at ipinagmalaki ko rin sa kanila ang Pilipinas pero nakakalungkot lang, mga kapwa pa natin Pinoy ang namimintas. Dapat nga, maging masaya pa tayo at nakita nila na maganda ang Philippines.”

Mula kay Ike: “Napanood ko ang DOND at ang masasabi ko, Kris’s hosting style in DOND Philippines is better than Howie’s.

what has happened to you kris?  lately, you have become so mean to your wheel of fortune contestants. it is not nice for us viewers to see you so visiby upset, impatient and irritated whenever a contestant forgets the letters, KSTLNE. they are obviously nervous so why not put those letters in a large board in front of them as a reminder. not to mention a contestant who forgot to turn off his cellphone. i found myself rooting for the guy simply because you were so mean to him.

id also like to ask, who is your stylist? your gowns are matronly. most of the time, they look cheap! who said you have to wear a gown all the time. wear some pretty dresses, pants and blouses. it makes you look younger.

please. dont let yourself go.

kris aquino strikes again! i just saw wheel of fortune awhile ago and saw yet again kris' very mean public rebuke of a contestant. you just had to do it, dont you? you just cant let it pass or even wait till your off the air. the contestant in question is a big guy but im 100% sure at that very moment he must have felt like a lilliputian! what was the contestant's big sin? he gave a letter that has already been given by another contestant. and what line did he get for that mistake? YOU ARE NOT PAYING ATTENTION!

in my long years of watching the original wheel of fortune, i have never seen pat st. john humiliate a contestant the way kris aquino does. those american contestants commit the same mistakes. please kris, try and put yourself in their shoes sometimes. try and imagine...................................not nice huh?
