If ratings ang pag-uusapan, lumalaban ang Bandila.... at the start naman, recognized na ng ABS management na they would have to sacrife both ratings & commercial spot revenues because they would be pitted against entertainment shows. Pero, with figures that has double digits, lumalaban talaga, and malay natin, eventually, it would supersede those senseless KiliTV shows or the non-artistic & creative Magpakailanman dramas of GMA.

Also noted with Kanguso channel, they now broadcast a "Saksi Special Bulletin" with Arnold & Vikki after their Telebabad block na di naman nila dati ginagawa- it features the headline stories of Saksi later that evening (or moning na nga eh kasi lagpas 12mn na minsan broadcast nila...) Di ba, very obvous na 'pangagaya' nanaman at isang very cheap attempt para tapatan ang Bandila... panloloko sa tao kasi 'special bulletin' kuno pero sa totoo lang, Arnold & Vikki are just reading their headlines without solid contents talaga.

More & more people are now watching & craving for BANDILA exclusives - in its 1st week of run pa lang, sunod-sunod na pasabog, exclusives and headline-making news ang ibinigay nina Ces, Henry & Korina sa ating lahat - grabe talaga, kakabahan ka habang nanonood ng Bandila kasi parang tumatawid sa alambre ang mga balita at tagapagbalita - you'll never know if thier stories would stir-up an explosive headline the next day, or stir-up both the government at yung mga kontra dito - talagang kakaibang pagbabalita - very provocative & aggressive. For sure, the people are hearing about this & more are tuning in to Bandila every single night.

Positibo ang mga nadawat nga reaskyon ni Manay Cristy Fermin kalabot sa bag-ong News and Current Affairs Program sa ABS-CBN-ang Bandila diin mibalik ang beterana nga si Korina Sanchez aron maoy mangulo nila ni Ces Drilon ug Henry Omaga Diaz isip mga anchors.

Apan dunay usa ka televiewer ang miingon nga nabag-ohan siya sa theme song sa Bandila tungod kay may pagka rock ang "dating" niini nga dili man unta variety show ang gihisgutan kondili news program.

"But what's in a theme song? Ang mahalaga, ang laman ng programa at ang mga news anchor. Magagaling din naman sina Ces Drilon at Henry Omaga-Diaz, pero iba talaga ang dating ni Koring!" pong pa niini.

Matud pa niya dugay na siya nga nangandoy nga mabalik si Korina isip anchor tungod kay lahi ang kredibilidad niini.

"Dun nagkakaiba ang mga news programs, magkakaiba ang style ng pagbabalita nila at ibang-ibang mag-deliver ng news si Korina! Hindi ako naniniwala na pare-pareho lang naman ang itsura ng mga news programs magkakaiba sila, lalo na kung ang nagbabalita, e, alam mong may kredibilidad," hirit pa sa televiewer nga nanawag gayud kang Manay Cristy.

"Nandun ang difference, kapag si Korina Sanchez na ang nakapagitna at nagde-deliver ng balita, iba na ang itsura ng news, napakahalaga na isang pinaniniwalaan mong news anchor ang nagbibigay ng balita," dugang pa niya.

Gawas sa Bandila duna na usay bag-ong program si Korina sa ANC (cable channel sa Dos) nga giuluhan og Korina Today,matag ala una sa hapon.

Pacquiao and Yap Hailed As Great Sportsmen

ABS-CBN’s late night news Bandila, brings valuable news to the masses at an earlier time slot of 10:30 PM! Last night, boxing champ Manny Pacquiao and cager James Yap were hailed as 2 of the country’s greatest sportsmen. Pacquiao was declared by the World Boxing Media as the world’s best boxer. Yap on the other hand was hailed the Most Valuable Player in the Philippine Boxing Association (PBA).

“No one can match Manny Pacquiao inside the ring.” That’s how the World Boxing Media described Pacman, the People’s Champ on their website after his recent bout with Mexican boxer Oscar Larios. 40 boxing reporters around world comprise the group and they voted Manny to the top. Pacman even beat welter weight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., who placed at no.2 and super featherweight champion Marco Antonio Barrera, who was at no.6.

James Yap is referred to by the PBA as their man after bagging the Most Valuable Player award this year. The player was first in statistical points, the media votes and in the 4 man MVP Committee. His wife Kris Aquino was given a special mention at the ceremony. Yap is only the 2nd sophomore and guard hailed as the MVP in the PBA.
